I would have preferred a Swiss sub-tree for France. They have a lot of their own vehicles which could have filled the gaps in the French tree.

I disagree. The Dutch are a really bad fit for the german tech tree. Only 2 tiers out of 8 are modern vehicles. These 2 tiers are the only ones where the Netherlands have a strong connection with the German armed forces. Most earlier Dutch vehicles would not fit into the German Tech Tree.

u are aware that makes it a better subtree all things considered because it brings diversity etc and fills in roles that germany massively lacks, like the f16, AH64e with hellfire Ls at one point or choice for Ks and an actual chin cannon

now its ending with france becoming another german copy paste alone trough netherlands because they are basicaly buying everything german has, boxer rct 30, schwerer waffenträger, leo 2a8 etc

That is once again only looking at the last 2 tiers.

There are 8 tiers in WT. It would be nonsensical to only have Dutch vehicles at only the last 2 because they would compliment the German TT. Most unique Dutch vehicles would have been used in a war against Germany (WW2 and Cold war)… Not on (partially) the same side.

Which is why a lot of people want BeNeLux to be independent. (Or most top tier vehicles of the subtree should be Belgian instead, as these are more unique domestic variants or vehicles)

Sadly we can’t dictate which vehicles Gaijin should choose. We can only make suggestion posts for the vehicles we’d like to see instead:

the thing i am gonna say always, top tier is the important part, this is where the money is at.
Gajin cares only to a lesser degree about low tier and mid tier. They only are part of the way, bring less attention and less customers,

People pay to get to top tier, people come to the game because they see the newest modern toys, the old stuff is way less intresting to a huge part of people. Player numbers for lower tiers are higher because people need to get to top tier first and it needs a long time.

yeah doubt that will happen, i am aware of all the suggestion, but it lacks where its the most important for one
High/ Top tier, belgium only has an indiginous cockerill and thats it realy, the benelux states mostly realy only import.
At the tiers were it matters for gajin they lack “personality”. They are not markeable enough for gajin

for sure, if we think about where Belgium could be added, as a sub-tree and we can only look at the nation currently in-game, France is the most obvious candidate.

the EMBT 2017 would not be a real tech jump at all. it should be comparable to the Leopard 2A5 or something like that.

the 2022 might be a bit better than the current to MBT. but not in a way that would make the game unfair.

and to be fair, both of them should also be added to Germany at the same time. ideally with a semi-fictional skin to tell them apart, like the French and German standard colour or the roundel from France and Germany.

there is two of them. and the Wheeled OTOMATIC which does not have missiles but remains capable of fitting in the highest BR. regardless, Hungary did not added any missiles SPAA to Italy so far, it only added copy-past SPAA that could be replaced by 2-3 of those Italian SPAA listed.

currently, they have accepted the Shard Mk.I for services. but France is not disclosing the number ordered. The ammunition was finished and will be tested in late 2023. the SHard was officially qualified in February 2024 and now accepted to services. it’s not sure yet if they ordered any, they aren’t in a rush as they have a stock of OFL 120 F1. and it remains it’s Nexter Ammunition that is producing it. which is a french branch of KNDS

Your Leopard 2 Arc 3.0 suggestion was just bad and how you handled the whole thing when u were completly wrong.

The leopards can be omitted for being unnecessary. Mowag wheeled vehicles using french turrets should not. I know the Swiss bought leopard 2s, and I assumed people would be able to take the logical jump of “this poster doesn’t want leopards in the French tree but prefers swiss tech to be there too, does that mean they just want the indigenous swiss stuff only” without being explicitly told.

Neither need a subtree. France has more stuff than Germany overall, except the majority of it isn’t added, while a large part of the German things are.

Personally I would have been fine with it if it wasnt just leopard 2 copy paste making the “everyone using a leopard 2” issue worse. Same with other “sub tree” issues, stop copy-pasting, actually add the more interesting vehicles even if they are “copy-paste” at the same time (EG plane the Hawk fighter for Finland at the same time the UK would get it would be cool/fine).

I am also surprised no Belgian Scimitar for the French tbh.
