It’s new content that meaningfully impacts gameplay and gives you plenty of lineup depth. Now you can use two Ostwind IIs in a match with pressing AA duty without having to spend a backup, for example. If I could get doubles of all my favourite WW2 vehicles I would take it in a heartbeat. Give me another Tiger E. Give me a second Jagdtiger. Give me the Jagdpanther G2 and the Panther A early.
I know. I wish minor nations got more of a priority. But from a business perspective it’s hardly shocking that they focus so much on the more played tech trees (which in turn creates a feedback loop because they stay the most played).
Still. If a vehicle was ever built, it will eventually come to the game. Of course it will. They’re never gonna leave free content on the table.
I’m not saying these are bad additions, just that they’re visually altered C&P vehicles. They don’t hinder my gameplay, but if you count the new vehicles, they don’t fall into that category.
I would say that the Stug III G in the game IS an early example as you can see here (link). What is needed is the common late example. Poor Finland needs one too. Additionally, you can add even more missing vehicles to this list such as the following:
It’s sad to see that the game outgrew WW2, I bet that Gaijins main profits are coming from higher tier premiums, but you won’t have to buy these, If you only focus on WW2…
Maybe splitting the grind to two seperatly researcheble WW2 and postwar tree could solve the problem, similar to coastal and bluewater, but it’s ain’t worth it.
That said I think it’s reasonable to assume that we will still get some regular WW2 techtree content from time to time.
Now it’s dawning on me. Japan probably won’t get any planes in the next update because of Malaysia’s addition in this update. Gajin will make some lame excuse about them being new vehicles.
While I can overlook many of these vehicles, as they wouldn’t differ too much from vehicles in the game, I’m shocked we haven’t gotten the XP-56 Black Bullet, the Bf-109 K-14, the Me 262 HG series, the A6M8, and the Ki-51 IN ELEVEN YEARS. Now with Gaijin giving up on WW2 vehicles (which, let’s be honest, they already have) our only hope is to get them as premium/event vehicles, which would really suck. The Xp-56 should be in the TT. I really don’t think the US Air TT should be for production vehicles only.
I notice that even Korean and Vietnam war vehicles are getting neglected as well. Which includes production vehicles. Not just Interwar & WWII vehicles
What would like to see is the following (Aircraft only). Note: I will be adding some Interwar & Postwar vehicles in the list as well

It’s largely due to several factors but mainly because Sweden needed a fighter-bomber and the J 9 was chosen for that modification. The J 9 when they were first brought were never brought with bomb racks
gaijin just tries to “kill” ww2 BRs to make people buy packs with the price of a full game.
it’s that simple. Of course trying to blame the playerbase since it’s “for their good”.
