Nakajima D3N ( 十一試艦上爆撃機)
The Nakajima D3N was a Japanese experimental dive bomber built in 1937. Three copies of the D3N aircraft were built, which were to be a competitor to the D3A aircraft in the competition for a new dive bomber of the Japanese Navy. Probably one D3A aircraft was created into the Ki-52, but there is no confirmation of this.
History
In 1936, the Imperial Japanese Navy issued technical specifications for a new dive bomber to replace the Aichi D1A aircraft. Proposals for the new aircraft were submitted by Aichi (D3A), Mitsubishi (D3M) and Nakajima (D3N). After presenting proposals from each of these three companies, Mitsubishi decided to withdraw. The main designer of the aircraft was Ryozo Yamamoto. The first prototype was ready in March 1937. Compared to the Aichi D3A1, the aircraft was much better in almost every aspect except top speed and in dive. However, at the end of 1938, the requirements were changed to the speed in dive flight, the aircraft was required not to exceed the speed of 364 km / h. This sudden change caused the D3N to be rejected by the IJNAF, but Nakajima did not abandon the aircraft and from 1939 used it as a test aircraft for the new engines. As late as 1939, two additional prototypes were built and prototype number two survived the war and was scrapped only in 1945.

Construction description
The Nakajima D3N is a Japanese low-wing dive bomber. The aircraft was very similar to the Nakajima C3N and Nakajima B5N aircraft. The most interesting feature of the aircraft was its main landing gear, which was also an air brake. The landing gear first rotated 90 degrees while retracting, and then retracted in the wing (similar to the P-36). In the case of the aircraft entering a dive flight, the landing gear was extended, but it was not rotated, so the wheels served as an air brake. Later, to meet the new requirements, ordinary air brakes (similar to those in the Douglas SBD plane) were added. The plane had seats in the cabin for two people: the pilot and the gunner-radio operator.

Summary
The Nakajima D3N aircraft would be an interesting aircraft for Japan in War Thunder. Thanks to its unique air brakes, it would be an interesting replacement for the D3A1 aircraft, from which it differs only in flight speed. If the Nakajima D3N was added with air brakes (wheels and slat brakes) implemented, it would be a step towards improving other aircraft using this solution (F4U and Saab 17). I encourage you to discuss in the comments and to share your own knowledge on this subject.
Finally, I apologize for the linguistic and logical errors because unfortunately English is not my main language and I had to use google translator.

Is it really cruise speed? Looks more like stall speed with flaps up
