I disagree about this part. We sold planes to South Africa, and South Africa bought many planes from the world, both copy-paste-ish ones(Mirage III as an example) and unique-ish ones. (Cheetah as an example)

Thick air tree… (which has nearly an extinction level of modern era jets, thanks to JASDF, which used not many types of modern jets.)

??? It has nothing to do with whether Japan is a nation or not. Japan in general has only made WT worse with the excessive copy paste, and wasted opportunity implementation.
Why? Japan was not a heavy tank country. They didnt manage to build even one working fully finished machine. Their tree focuses on different type of machinery - the cardboard mobile boxes with powerful cannons (well apart fron rank 1). Its what makes it unique.

What I read from his claim was

Well it isnt the main contributor for sure, but as we can see it also is one of them. When the ASEAN tree was suggested it was asians who argued more if that country should be added to it or not. When the devs stated their plans for subtrees, it also were asians who were most violent in language.

Alot of the copy pasted chinese aircraft and copy pasted japanese tanks would be removable.
Now, yes, 9.3 - 10.3 wont change much, however it’s still a major improvement.
Even if Gajin was a somewhat reasonable company who could revert bad changes, the playerbase would still stop it from happening.

Adding M4A4 and T-34/76&85 on japanese tech tree isn’t an improvement if we only think about copy-paste.

In my opinion, the most frustrating thing is that for 1799 days (!) no Japanese ww2 aircraft has been added to the tech tree in the game. The same goes for ground vehicles. For 1799 days (!) no native Japanese ground vehicle has been added. This shows that Gaijin hate Japan.

The Japanese planes you mentioned are all prop planes. Gaijin said they are moving away from WWII and shifting priority to modern vehicles.
Unfortunately the only japanese aircraft that can be added is another variant of f15JM, super f2, and f15 super interceptor. I don’t see Gaijin adding anything else than those. And ground vehicle wise there’s barely anything left for cold war-modern era.
The lack of O-I, and the addition of things like Sovetsky Soyuz, KH-38MT, Flakpanzer IV “Ostwind II” and other fictional or half-finish prototypes is a huge case of Gaijin’s bias. Gaijin clearly hates Japan. Japan is ignored, plundered, and cheated by Gaijin. If by March 10, 2026 (five years of waiting for a new Japanese WWII vehicle) no Japanese vehicle from WWII (not a ship) is announced, I will abandon this game, uninstall it, and never return to it.

Nope. It has nothing to do with gatekeeping. You can ask anyone who’s ever played a nation victimized by copy slopping. 10 times outta 10 they woulda preferred a unique vehicle be added instead of copy slopping.

SInce when? All China aircraft in game right now are more or less copy and paste from USSR, what they do is just renamed it.
Then you will find those nation you consider as “unique” will get cancelled while Japan remained unharm
