In my opinion, the most frustrating thing is that for 1799 days (!) no Japanese ww2 aircraft has been added to the tech tree in the game. The same goes for ground vehicles. For 1799 days (!) no native Japanese ground vehicle has been added. This shows that Gaijin hate Japan.
And this is a short list of possible Japanese CAS planes that were completely ignored by Gaijin.
The F2 came last year? Although way too late in my opinion
The Japanese planes you mentioned are all prop planes. Gaijin said they are moving away from WWII and shifting priority to modern vehicles.
Unfortunately the only japanese aircraft that can be added is another variant of f15JM, super f2, and f15 super interceptor. I don’t see Gaijin adding anything else than those. And ground vehicle wise there’s barely anything left for cold war-modern era.
The lack of O-I, and the addition of things like Sovetsky Soyuz, KH-38MT, Flakpanzer IV “Ostwind II” and other fictional or half-finish prototypes is a huge case of Gaijin’s bias. Gaijin clearly hates Japan. Japan is ignored, plundered, and cheated by Gaijin. If by March 10, 2026 (five years of waiting for a new Japanese WWII vehicle) no Japanese vehicle from WWII (not a ship) is announced, I will abandon this game, uninstall it, and never return to it.
Nope. It has nothing to do with gatekeeping. You can ask anyone who’s ever played a nation victimized by copy slopping. 10 times outta 10 they woulda preferred a unique vehicle be added instead of copy slopping.
LOL, I thought I read it mistaken but seem like you really thing a howitzer on a Sherman chasis more “unique” than those self design Japanese tanks🤦♂️
You know most of those “unique” missile is just a rename version of R-60 and Magic series right?
How many times I gonna repeat? You can’t remove them because they didn’t got that much of self design vehicle. If remove them all Israel will lose whole Magach line and most of the other vehicle in other line; China also suffered as they will had to kiss goodbye to the WW2 era, the ROC line and large number of PRC vehicle while those vehicle you said “worth grinding” is not enough to fill the gap those copy and paste vehicle made, at the end you will find the “less unique” Japan only get minor affect by removing some ground vehicle and some modern jets
Strange, I saw quite a lot of Commonwealth players praying about their vehicles to ours.
10 outta 10? really mate…?
Yes, if there are ‘unique vehicles remaining to be added which are worth playing’ and ‘lame copy-pasted vehicles’, there might be a chance of preferring unique ones.
But in the other way around, players will prefer ‘trustworthy american built warhorse’ compared to ‘untrustworty unique vehicle which is overtiered, outgunned, or off-meta’.
Ooohhh… you’ve grown up from last time we discussed… handclap
You bite the bullet. nice job.
What the hell are you talking about? Stingray was built by the US but never bought by Congress in the final selection.
You think that is an American vehicle because an American company built it, even though US Army didn’t operate it.
But the operator company shouldn’t get it because copy-paste is bad?
Is ridiculous that T-1 still hasn’t be added into the game at this point, Gaijin really could just milk the players by putting the A variant in the tech tree and the B as a premium, or even better since they love so much the time that copypaste saves you, why not just add the T-33?? It can go in like 3 nations in game
Also you guys are really arguing with one of the guys whose comments seem like genuinely bait? Just ignore it life keeps going
Honestly, something tells me that by the end of the year Japan won’t get any native vehicles apart from ships. We’ll probably get 90% C&P from subtrees and 10% special stuff.
If someone throws rubbish on the street, someone else needs to pick it up and throw it into a bin.
If noone does, the street will be shitehole.
Also, arguing with him is fun, like playing tug-of-war with a squeaky toy.
Some is just unnecessary, to the point where it’s historically wrong. So for example instead of giving the US the Thai operated Stingray, they could’ve gotten the Cadillac Gage prototype Stingray. Or instead of giving Thailand the US M163, they could’ve gotten a variant that Thailand actually operated.
But others generally make sense. Some vehicles are just operated by different nations, and that’s perfectly fine. These vehicles are still significant to their nations and serve to make national lineups and represent parts of history. The fact that these vehicles are exported is what is driving the military industry of the nation that develops them, so them being spread around is just the price to pay for generally having more developments.
That said I’d still say they shouldn’t be prioritized when deciding what to add. Instead I’d say the more unique options would be more important. For example instead of the unmodified Thai M163 (even if it was the right M163A1 model), they could’ve added the modified M163A1 TVADS instead.
Some copies can also be “skipped” by giving them a unique modification as an actual researchable modification option. For example the Thai M60A3 TTS could’ve been made more interesting with researchable WERA (wooden add-on armor).
Also suggestions like these should be implemented.
Clarification: he wants to remove Stingray from Thai and make it a US Exclusive because copy-paste is bad.
Even though Congress didn’t buy Stingray, and it was not on US Service.
Because nothing but it is US Built vehicle.
Yeah, that’d be a bit weird considering it was an entirely private Cadillac Gage project aimed primarily at export. I understand the Stingray prototypes, despite them not being trialed by the US at all, since it’s at least an American company, but not the Thai service configuration.
Sadly not real ERA, just a funny name for the armor made for the suggestion. But it’s still an interesting add-on with good side coverage made from holy wood.
Doesn’t exist yet. Will probably never come to the game at this rate.
Doesn’t exist, only existed on paper. Move on from the tree if the only thing you’re waiting for is an ongoing upgrade in its very early stages and a paper variant. Most we’ll get in the future with the F-2 is an F-2 Early (possibly 9Ls, but otherwise identical to ADTW) and an F-2 Late (AAM-5, maybe tested HMD)
