This topic need to be brought up again and again until the dev see this.
The points are simple
Your flight performance is trash.
Oh yeah you can pull one or two good pull at 900 - 800 Km/h, but then where you at? Just hanging in the air waiting to get screwed by either a gun shot or missile. The plane engine is too trash to be able to regain that lost speed.
Lack of countermeasures and RWR
With the shitload of F-14 in the air, oh phoenix and fakour gonna have a blast targeting your ass. 12 Countermeasures while A-10C with 4 Aim-9M at your BR? hell yeah let me pop 4 flares to counter that IRCM. oops? not enough? well too bad.
(optional) is the weird gun placement.
It can be mitigated, but nevertheless its still a handicapped.
6 missles (AIM 9P3) only and who is using this thing for CAS? Thats a moot point. Again other 11.3 aircraft are better. With that logic in mind the F4C should be 13.0 because it has 8 missile hardpoints and 6 additional hardpoints for CAS.
And did you check how many missiles it can use at any given time? The hardpoints for rockets are again a worthless claim for keeping it at said BR and shows a lack of knowledge on the vehicle and its current performance or just blatant ignorance on your part.
It’s got IRST, 6 good missiles, and a decent afterburning engine. That’s literally all it has going for it.
It has 12 countermeasures… just 12, horrible flight performance nowadays, NO RWR, and lack any Radar/Radar missiles or all aspect IR missiles. It also only has one gun with only a smallish ammo pool.
Definitly belongs at 10.7-11.0 where it was before the nerf/BR changes, as it literally faces Aim-54/Fakour 90s now.
I don’t even have this plane and it pains me to see how much it’s suffering lol. So glad I didn’t buy it when I was really considering doing it.
Most, if not all, of said threads are inactive for a while. So it pushed me to make a new thread as a reminder for this issues. (but we’re not arguing about my action to posted this thread, i will go back to those thread if need be)
Reactivating threads is encouraged and helps foster discussions, most forum members (and the poor mods) would prefer to have them all in one place. There’s no shame in reactivating a thread ever.
I completely agree… getting uptiered and going against F-14’s and F-4S in the J35XS is not fair. I barely use the J35XS cause of this, like it’s got no RWR, only 12 countermeasures and the RB24J’s are pretty shit even at br 11.3 so whenever you get uptiered it’s not even worth trying
It shoud indeed be lowerd but not to 10.3 if you know how to play it its already good and when you get downtire it dominates The minimum br shoud be 11.0 maybe 10.7
