I would like to suggest the Sd.Kfz.251/17 Ausf. D armed with the 2 cm Flak 38 L/65 in the Schwebelafette.
It is basically a combination of the 2 cm Flak 38 L/65 and the Mg 151 Drilling mount, but with more armor.
(Its either 2 cm Flak or KwK 38, however that is irrelevant as they are identical guns.)
In game it would offer a mobile realtively armored vehicle and another version of the Sd.Kfz.251, armed with the 2 cm Flak, to the lower ranks and give adequat AT and AA firepower to support the main tank force.
It was designed to replace the Sd.Kfz.251/10 as the command vehicle, as the 2 cm gun was seen as more universal against ground and airtargets beyond the 3,7 cm Pak L/45. Earlyer attemts with a Sd.Kfz.251 and a 2 cm Flak gun required the modification of the armor plates, while the new developed small Schwebelafette was small enove to fit into the unmodified compartment as well as leaving enove space for the ammo and radio equipment all while offering 360° 10mm armor protection to the gunner.
History of the Sd.Kfz.251:
The AHA IN6 (Inspectorate of Motorized Troops) requested a armored Half track to accompany tanks on the offensive and perform auxiliary mission in 1939. These tasks were (not limited to) Scouting, mobile HQ, command vehicle, radio vehicle, forward observer and ammo carrier. And be a bigger version to the then also in development Sd.Kfz.250, its smaller brother.
It was an development of the Sd.Kfz.11, which was made by Demag, who was allready recognized for their expertise in very small and fast half tracks, which was recently accepted into service. Of these Sd.Kfz.11 were around 12.000 produced until 1945 and additional 15.252 of the armored version Sd.Kfz.251. The armored body was designed and produced by Büssig-NAG abd called Mittlerer gepanzerter Mannschafts Transportwagen (medium armored troop transporter) with the number Sd.Kfz.251.
The Gun:
2 cm Flak 38 L/65 in Schwebelafette 600 rounds reserve (Its either 2 cm Flak or KwK 38, however that is irrelevant as they are identical guns.)
Mg 42 in AA and anti ground mount at the back. Maybe Shoulder Stab, the whole gun is ballanced by the weight/body of the gunner.
-10 to +60° elevation 360° traverse at 60° Sec
With 10, 20 or 40 round magazins usable.
Ammo: Different AP and HE rounds. 148g/820m/s to 120g/920m/s and HVAP 100g/1050m/s
