I said it’s unique not because it was built from scratch but the fact the mods aren’t operated elsewhere (to my knowledge) and the modification came from Israel.

Unless Iran changed it that much to fall lower in rank and BR, that’s also not what’s being asked for considering all M47s in game are rank 5.
I would rather Gajin learn from prior trees and hopefully not make them half baked. I’m also not saying Iran has to have a completely unique low tier, I was speaking in defence of the notion the Iranian tree could start fine at ranks 4 or 5. I’m also fine with a tier 1-3.
I have also spoken in support in adding the Iranian tree as standalone or coalition so I’m in no way trying to stop it being added.
This isn’t an issue solely for Iran. Türkiye and Ukraine are both tree concepts I’d love to see but also recognise they have issues with the air and wouldn’t really have a great tier 1-3 for ground (which whatever is unique in that br range could just be added like the TCM-20 or the former French reserve tanks)

and calling poland or latam more interesting is just a terrible take ngl poland is literally 90% copy paste nato and soviet stuff and latam is just US imports. iran has f14s t72s and its own domestic karrar tanks which is objectively one of the most unique and diverse lineups possible in this game.
I don’t wanna drag this off topic but I know guy who can show Poland is a lot more the copy paste. Latam also has quite a number of mods and domestic stuff, Argentina and Chile especially.

pls research the subject Polish domestic defense industry is quite big, form the 1930’s to today with a small dark period of communism they have quite the number of interesting domestic stuff
LATAM has some of the most amazing modifications i have seen, also domestic produce stuff like the EE serries or other stuff that i am no expert on

T-90MS? Its a very interesting tank but it doesn’t beat a polish line-up of SepV3, K2, K2PL, Leopard 2PL, that are far more diverse that a T-90

Would there be a br for the T-55 with the ZPU-4 turret that doesn’t make it a balancing nightmare? I’m imagining it’s fire power would be enough for later props but I doubt at that GAB/GRB there’s many tanks that can hit the hull that well.
It’s four 14.5mm KPVs, which is more or less the same firepower as the BTR-152D currently in-game at 4.0. the T-55 or M47M (or M48, if it exists), should be the same BR on account of their weapon systems being entirely exposed, meaning that only the driver has any considerable invulnerability.
You raise a point about the exposed gun crew, I suppose even if you can’t destroy the hull, you can slowly drain the crew via turret and then the strong hull won’t mean as much.
Even with the M47M, the hull MG is removed, so both tanks only have 1 crew in the hull, making one sweep of the turret crew and a second if crew replenishment is in play necessary, so nothing terrible.
