On that note, I would be interested to see what the hypothetical navy could be (although iirc, the leak probably got Romania wrong unless gajin feels like messing up more rules).

All right, I will only post the bluewater section I have so far here as this is really a digression, but with the little research I have done so far, I think the hypothetical Poland/East Europe navy tree needs Austria-Hungary more than Italy does.
This list even goes as far as giving Soviet ships to the tree that were built in Ukraine and served in the Black Sea Fleet, which is definitely a stretch. Austria-Hungary is one of the few sources of capital ships for this tree.
Edit: I’m still working on this and making additions, it’s a fun project. But I will start a new thread rather than continue to derail this one!

Cutting Soviet ships sounds extremely weird, imo it’ll never happen. Ukraine was part of USSR, if anything their vessels can go to Soviet TT.
I agree that it’s not likely to happen, and I don’t think it’s 100% necessary for the tech tree if submarines and missile ships are added (since they can let the tech tree push to top tier without as many battleships and cruisers).
I will say that all of the USSR vessels I chose would have other equivalents of the same class that could still be added to the USSR tech tree, so it’s not like they would be missing out or “losing” gameplay to another tech tree.
I made a TT, also with a submarines branch (although I don’t know how they should be placed in br and just order honestly), there are Romanian vessels, some Austro-Hungarian ships are also presented.

Cassiopea corvette and Armando Diaz cruiser have been spotted in “educated guesses”.
Armando Diaz is a sistership of Luigi Cadorna, which is a free prize of the current battle pass, so I have serious doubts that she will actually come this update. Compared to in-game Cadorna variant she should keep torpedoes and recon plane, plus have a bit different AA.
Cassiopea is very interesting since it carries helicopter on its board irl, if it gets added with AB-212 as the first helicopter to be used in naval battles it would be awesome, but as always there is very little hope…

I hope that next update we get the Impavido. With them adding DDGs for nations, only Italy, Britain, and Japan are left.
Also looking at the stats, the Impavido would probably be the best of the early DDGs

Yeah, actually more postwar destroyers would be nice especially since premium Geniere is still the best DD in the tech tree, with Impetuouso being the second one. And both are rank 2, I would also love to see San Giorgio class for example.

Not sure if this was discussed or brought up before, but should Italy get ships from Austria-Hungary as s sub tree or added in as an event, tech tree, or premiums? Or do Austro-Hungarian naval ships from WW1 already fall into other nations’ tech trees?

Am I blind or this Regina Maria(later Letuchiy) have original 120 mm gun at 2nd gun position?
Then ingame Letuchiy should be remodelled or renamed into Likhoy.
Both were rearmed with 88 mm, probably the photo you found is just wrongly named (the year I mean).
Then… why it has soviet flag painted on bow?
It isn’t Soviet flag, it’s St. Andrew flag, which Romanians also used.
