Italian fleet was not used much however they had good stuff there underwater flotilla was better technology wise then the Germans in a lot of respect. They did kind of invent the frogman concept which had there human torpedos bolted to the hull of a sub so maybe some nice bonus features could be added.

You are missing the I-400 for Japan and the Type Xb submarine for Germany (good torpedo’s and 60 mines with just like the I-400 being the largest submarine in their respective naval forces). They aren’t in mobile as far as I am aware but NEED to be in the tech tree’s for War Thunder.

The 5th column here is for subs, although not all of them as many of them have similar characteristics.
BRs are placeholders of course.
They have some very interesting ones such as unusual Cagni class with a lot (36) of 450 mm torpedoes)
Others have mostly 8-16 533 mm torpedoes iirc. Plus Italy can have a few ex-Amercan submarines (ex Gato, Tang, Tench, Balao classes). You can find them at rank IV in my TT.
I’ve also included a few Romanian
NMS Delfinul, NMS Requinul and modern Delfinul.

Fast queston when you get some time Zero (more on your end) we all know the sub thing is 80% likely unless the snail is doing 5D checkers and this is just going to be a event re-run for the lols. When might we be able to so submarine suggestions I think just like infantry its a no go? Then again on the old forum a few sub suggestion where made back in the day.
But when should we be able to write such suggestions or is it so likely could we write them now? This is a back end question for the mods in general.

Good news being Dream Come true is sort of for strange vehicles a sub would be unlikely unless the event sits next to the update and there going to cram a sub in as a event vehicle with the tech tree.

There were 2 or 3 boat-sub hybrid projects in ussr, at least one of them had a 60% completed hull that was destroyed in siege of leningrad, so it can be added

I remember them the idea never died post war Soviets and North Korea built and continue to build strange black ops speed boat things. They mix radar stealth and high underwater speed now apparently Iran has a few apparently there kind of strange but makes sense for frogman activities. Or even to operate as drones run mostly on the surface but go underwater for final attack or to run away.
There are a lot of underwater terrors this opens the flood gate to.

lol lore wise funny enough that was the EFF strategy have the sea Zeon have all of it you don’t have enough raw manpower anyway. Sink as many ships you want because they don’t really matter. (pls snail do a crossover there making a live action its perfect!)
And in IRL one never controls the sea only the sea lanes if you want to hide deep in the ocean you can but your doing jack nothing. That is why fleet in being / missile sea power exists you can influence what matters by doing almost nothing however if your bluff is called your cooked.
