with infantry it could happen though I would bet on Lord of the Rings before that.

would be cool if some manga writer did WW1 but with dragons

Anyway it would be cool if some manga writer did WW1 but with dragons and sort of tell the story of how WW1 exposed that horse cavalry in the current state was not feasible. Would basically be 37mm pom pom go BRRRRR situation. Start of the story people believe to a point that a nations strength is by the amount of dragons it has like with horses and the war changes that thinking.

With infantry mode I see UCAV having more of a job then in ground being food for Anti-Air because your only a little faster then a WW1 fighter.

Rüstungsprogram 2025 clearly states the replacement of the barrel to accomodate the use of new rounds and firecontrol system. An was approved. So its WIP.

Well, as long as there is no publicly available documentation, internal documents cannot be published. It does exist. I work together with a person that is an active duty tank commander. He is having better thermals than why was done in 2006 😉 among other things.

But confidential info is no source, so, lets conclude - No modification 😇

Gaijin should seriously consider the following vehicles:

T-34-85 (1969)
SU-100 (1969)
T-44M/MS
ISU-152K/M
IS-2M
IS-3M

These are all Cold War modernizations of otherwise WW2 Soviet tanks. They come with improved engines with higher horsepower and in most cases HEAT ammunition.

I’d rather see the actual German heatfs shells instead of later cold war heatfs stuff in the WW2 br

I wonder what happened regarding the follow-up news on regenerative steering for tanks.
If I recall correctly, a message was released late last year stating that implementation would be considered based on user test feedback, yet eight months have passed since then without any further updates.

In any case, I would much rather see these Cold War-era vehicles that actually existed and were available in significant numbers than blatant copy-paste additions differentiated only by a flag on the turret, or obscure prototypes that barely saw the light of day. Wouldn’t you agree?

No I’d rather see the weird prototypes over cold war tanks with heatfs in the WW2 battle ratings

So asian barrels are smaller after all

They wouldn’t be at the same B.R as their WW2 counterparts…
And I don’t want to see the entire enemy team with Tiger 2s and Jagtigers yet here I am…

I said the WW2 bracket. We already have cold war stuff in the bracket what just aren’t fun to fight in WW2 tanks

What are top of the line WW2 German equipment ofc you’ll see them lmao what’s that comparison - don’t want heatfs fighting WW2 tanks = don’t want too see WW2 tanks in a bracket full of them

There’s not really much that can be done about Cold War tanks fighting Second World War tanks, and that in itself is not necessarily unrealistic. Panzer IVs, Shermans and T-34s all remained in service during the Cold War and ended up fighting both each other and much more modern equipment. What is far more unrealistic is seeing late-war German vehicles such as the Tiger II and Jagdtiger regularly fighting Cold War designs they never had any realistic chance of encountering. And unfortunately we can’t do much about it…

To balance those Cold War Upgraded WW2 tanks was not and will not be a problem at all for Gaijin.

Is Heat even that good? A TD in the Russian TThas Heat but I prefer using APHE
