Next patch and beyond wishlist(Everything except Tech Trees) (Part 3)

The top of the line of swiss mbt’s will probably be the 140mm panzer 87 (but probably more rank VII than VIII)

Less cheaters at weekends. That is my wish from gaijin.

You think we would get the GDF C02 and/or GDF D03 in the AA line?

I would put it in the same but with the Object 292

Wrong. The whole electronics as Swiss modified. My boss was high ranking Panzer 68 commander was part of the Panzer87 project. He took part form zero to 100. We got different fire control system, different sensors than the regular 2A4. Its more an 2A6 but in a old hull. The CFO of the company I work for is a Leopard 2A4 commander on active duty. He has seen modification along his carreer on when he started in the Rekrutenschule and now in service.

The updated Panzer 87 WE (Werterhalt) was upgraded to the 2A8 level.

So we would have a

  • Panzer 87 (Early) → 2A4 CH
  • 71x Panzer 87 WE (Werterhalt) → 2A6 CH
  • 134x Panzer 87 WE Kampfwertsteigerung (Late) → 2A8 CH

Tha Late athough still having a L/44 120mm gun, it got modified and is able to us newer amunition (Example Rh31which has a programmable fuse)
Late did receive new armor plates applied (ceramic composite type C)
We have a 7,5-mm-Panzermaschinengewehr 87 mounted.

Switzerland has modified the Leopard 2A4 by itself and as such it is not copy&paste.

In the Rüstungsprogram 2025 there was a position to acquire an “vendor unspecified” APS system for the 134 Leopards which are at 2A8 level.

In the Tank Museum Full-Reunthal you can go and see two additional prototypes of the Swiss Army Panzer 87. Tested but never rolled out. Has a complete turret overhaul with armor.

Another point you miss

Panzer 68 were two versions existing from 1973 to 1994 the was a Panzer 68/75 and from 1993 onwards there was a Panzer 68/88 which had a replacement of the fire control system with laser distance measuring.

Early and late variant for sure

Rh31 is just regular HE. It’s just impact only dm11.

What’s your source for this?

Nothing public, sadly.

Should get it, it was the main MBT of the Swiss before the Pz 68s + would provide a positive additions to the DE tech tree, (7.7s stabbed MBT and a stabbed 8.0 MBT to support both line ups as the Pz58 and Pz61 where not stabbed afaik)

So doesn’t exist. That upgrade your on about it from 2006 lmaoooo the swiss have no modern 2a4 modernizations

I wouldn’t say that… Two artillery pieces and one MBT isn’t much. Even if it is more than the Swiss have gotten so far… (and all three still don’t have all of their service munitions, for some reason they only have foreign rounds)

There might be 2 more versions to add, the GDF C03 (top vehicle with radar) and GDF D02 (bottom without radar) issue is I haven’t seen any images of them as functional vehicles nor any written sources confirming either were built.

Also here’s the suggestions for both built versions:

You can’t add vehicles that never existed. These are concept drawings.

I guessed they didn’t exist, just wasn’t sure in case something did surface.

And none of them are even actual Belgian or Dutch designs in any meaningful way (the 2a4 has a Dutch smoke launcher mount and the 1a5be has a different FCS, but that’s it)

Man, I wonder what Thomas_Belgium is going to tell you about the Leopard 1A5BE…

The B-2 Spirit

Useless right now but with proper modelling of stealth, ECM, and nuclear escalation mode it would be perfect.
