If they were going to add CBUs and those CBUs required people to get closer to the battlefield in higher tiers I can almost guarantee you that next to nobody would use them. CAS players tend to not want to have to engage with AA beyond destroying them from outside the AAs engagement range.
Just having them wouldn’t encourage anything, just like having fire bombs doesn’t encourage people to bring them in lower tiers to throw napalm on open topped vehicles.
“Cobra button” that’s what I’m calling it, because everything else is too wordy, is an absolute game changer. Sukhois are finally what they should be.
Also, thank you Gaijin for adding my favorite fighter jet of all time, the Su-30SM. As an American tax professional, releasing it during tax season has been great (sarcasm lmao). I couldn’t wait any longer to test-fly it, and fixed up an old work PC to get my fix.
After shaking off the rust of almost two months not playing, I had one of the nastiest and easily most fun games of ARB I’ve ever had last night.
Image links are broken now? Anyways, the Su-30SM is so gorgeous. I’m hoping we can get some more skins for her. There’s a lot of Blue Number Su-30SM/SM2’s, and I’d love to see Sevastopolskii, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, and Tchernyakhovsk. Would be nice to at least get one Belarusian sky blue as well.

Has anyone forgotten that cluster munitions are going to brick a lot of people’s low-end PC’s? Or that a lot of even modern day CBU’s have fairly large failure rates (30-40%)?
top tier decompression, there’s a fair number of IR only/basic SARH aircraft in the 12.0-13.0 range that really suffer in an uptier against the 13.0 AMRAAM slingers. (Phantoms like the FGR.1 and EJKAI for example at 12.0 and 12.3 respectively, or the Harrier GR7 at 12.3, or the Mig-29s etc)
Helicopters:
more utility helis, like Wildcat or a Japanese Blackhawk etc.
some work done on bringing all the nations helis more on par, e.g. helis with F&F ATGMs for nations that don’t have access for them, cockpits etc.
Ground:
Some Rank VIII MBTs / Work done on MBT capability parity between nations, e.g. New Leclerc with better stats and such.

More SPAA in general, there’s big voids in quite a few nations post 5.3, so stuff like the AML S530 and such would be nice
SAM parity between trees, some nations have IR SAMs as low as 9.0, would be nice for the nations that don’t have such SAMs until 9.7/10.0+ to get some, as CAS starts to get spicy past at 9.3 if the pilot knows what they’re doing.
Map pools, I personally find close in city brawling maps boring and mildly frustrating, would be nice if we could get CS style map pools to select from, with ratios of each kind of map in each pool. i.e. one pool is majority city maps, another is majority long range maps, and such.
Being able to put decorators in turret bustle baskets, or at least some constancy with them, I like filling my tank’s massive baskets up with stuff, but it’s not consistent if they’re modelled in a way you can.
oh and some map reworks, lots of maps have easy to get to spawn camping postions, would be nice if that was changed.
Most importantly though, a shift in dev attitude, the last couple of updates have been pretty buggy, would be nice if they spent more time bug squashing before release.
Guys is there a way to know why a suggestion you make was rejected? I’ve made quite a few since I joined this forum and not a single one was accepted and I have no clue why
These are some of my biggest hopes for this year and in the future, a bunch of armed trainers/LCA’s and some more utility helicopters. Some stuff like you said the Hawk, Gnat, T-50 and also Yak-130, M346 and even the A-37. For helicopters some stuff like the ACH-47A, Merlin, UH-1Y and the MV-22B would be amazing.
You’ll have to message a suggestion mod and ask why. Only thing you can see about a denied suggestion is the ghost notification meaning that there is a denied suggestion.
I agree with wise of new aircraft, but additions like ECM, advanced CMs, towed decoys, next step of ARH, etc could be incorporated to nudge top tier forward but at a much more controlled and even pace
I suppose. Although what concerns me most is the decompression in ways of a light and smooth transition through aircraft and later missile generations. It’s still a rough time and, if decompressed properly, could allow for later or earlier versions of certain aircraft ( that’s exactly why folders in trees are for) to allow for greater freedom of what players want to play and experience ( I want my trees PACKED as much as possible, while still giving players the ability to skip things they dont want to play or give them a chance to go back and see something the same but different).
Yeah, ECM would be quite nice but what I’m looking forward to the most is ARMs and proper datalink for weapons like the AJ missiles and AGM-62ERDL.
