Very funny that this gets added together with the new SAMs even though the best one should be completely immune to it. You can guess wether it actually is :clueless:

The issue is if Z10ME got CM502KG, it will be the most dangerous heli at toptier, because the shoot range is over 20km and has a similar system like MI28NM, Considering Gaijin still refuses to add HMD for Z10 and buff TY90, it is pretty hard to say Z10ME really has hope to get that

apparently from what iv seen, 25km range is the absolute max against larger targets. Against tank sized targets lockon range goes down quite a bit to around 12-15km
Still hard, I don’t remember if we really have any IR missiles on helis that could have an over 12km shot range

I’m slightly surprised we aren’t also getting an F-102 as maybe a premium for the US and Italy (Turkey) to go along with the AIM-26.
i doubt F-102 is going to be a premium, at least the one that could be added, also Turkey got its F-102’s from the US which means the Turkish F-102 would go to the US
Not everything will go to it’s maker, stuff will get added where and when gaijin sees fit

As far as Turkey goes, all of its stuff so far has gone to its original owner. The reason why their F-104 is in the Italian tree is due to them purchasing it from italy

Just because it has in the past doesn’t always mean it will in the future I mean we even got double of the same vehicle in different trees, well in the case of this updates 3.
Turkish AMBT in US, the F-104’s were license Italian or something along those lines

Also would like to mention that while the F-102 could carry the Aim-26, due to its size it could only carry exactly 1 of them and no other missiles
It better get the 250 ton warhead if it can only bring one
for the sake of WT, it would be the conventional warhead one
These can be placed at higher BR, I hope they both come with AGMs and Magics, while for lower tiers we can still have less armed variants with gunpods.

The VFX are nice. Don’t get enough of those huge bright blasts in wt. I’d also like them to rework the GRB nuke effects they look a bit dated imo
That and they work really well against most targets
Plumbbob John test, firing AIR-2 from an F-89J. The only detonation of an air to air nuclear weapon. The warhead was over 6x stronger than that on the AIM-26A, and famously 5 USAF personell stood directly under the explosive to show nuclear weapons weren’t that dangerous
Lethal radius for the AIR-2 was apparently 300m, so less than a sixth of that means AIM-26A won’t be OP
