Yes, it was, look higher, the topic doesn’t have many pages yet.
I’ve included them in my potential TT btw)
Am I blind or this Regina Maria(later Letuchiy) have original 120 mm gun at 2nd gun position?
Then ingame Letuchiy should be remodelled or renamed into Likhoy.
Both were rearmed with 88 mm, probably the photo you found is just wrongly named (the year I mean).
Then… why it has soviet flag painted on bow?
It isn’t Soviet flag, it’s St. Andrew flag, which Romanians also used.
Ah okay. Thanks :)
Wish Gaijin gives original 5 gun version of Regele Ferdinand rather than just copy pasting Letuichy.
Please post in planned br changes about Littorio reloading and like others requests:
What Italy ingame needs: post war destroyer with good gun
What Gaijin gives:
Maybe it will start the third line, imo still not a bad thing, expanding TT even if by small steps.
A third line could be interesting if they want to use it to implement some " hypotetical " designs ( like the new german Z52 ) or captured ships.
We’ll have to wait untill the dev opens to know if this is the case.
So I’m going to plug Proposal for Bluewater Naval Changes this thread because my knowledge gap on most of the nations is pretty damn limited aside from Germany and Japan.
I would like to hear everyone’s thoughts for Roma, Italia and other ships.
I apologize for semi hijacking the thread and if you guys feel it’s inappropriate, I will remove the link accordingly.
Well, I haven’t played other nations BBs, but I’ll still answer; Roma is playable due to a nature of naval battles, where most enemies are bots, although even against them you have to get used to that pathetic RoF and poor accuracy. Once you meet Sovetsky Soyuz or Iowa player, it’s basically impossible to do anything, unless they just ignore you.
I think we can already make the next line even without such stuff, with Italian postwar destroyers, late armored cruisers and pre-dreadnoughts:
That would be nice if those ships that you have proposed could arrive, but Gaijin really forgot all those pre-dreadnought and armored cruisers ( the only one we have is the Ikoma ).
There are a lot of ships from that era for all nations and I still think we jumped too fast to late WWII ships and missle destroyers.
And Kurama.
Vincenzo Gioberti [ITA]:
tier I
BR: 3.7
after the Dardo (DR)
From datamine.
Unfortunately no third line for now.
It’s a really bizarre addition, but at this point we’re all used to it. From a historical standpoint, it can be important in order to see the evolution of italian destroyers (the Poeti class are enlarged Maestrales). From a gameplay perspective, however, it’s a complete waste.
P.S.= The addition of the Gioberti at br 3.7 makes the fact that the Corazziere is at br 4.3 even more insane, the difference between the two is functionally literally a single (mediocre) cannon.
Yep, it’s quite a strange aition as it is now.
You have the Grecale that has better AA and the aft turret completely free at the same Br and the Corazziere at 4.3 with worse AA and just a single gun more.
Apart from the historical value as you said its position in the TT doesn’t really offer anything worth of value.
You can build a full free 3.7 lineup, sure, but they’re all rank I so you can’t even complete the basic tasks with them.
How many “hypothetical” designs does Italy have that could actually be implemented with the current guidelines for naval (construction begun)?
