What is the main contributing factor that determines which suggestions get passed to the devs? Is it the reaction from players or just preference from the moderation team? Is it based off of the developers’ previous pattern of additions or likelihood of implementation? The overwhelming majority of things passed to the developers are cosmetics and new vehicles while gameplay and QoL improvements are often drowned out or pushed to the side. I’ve combed through several threads, many of which are years old, that would greatly improve the game but they’re just sitting in limbo. By no means do I intend for this to be taken in a derogatory manner. I just want to figure out how we can get more gameplay-oriented and QoL improvements sent to the devs and brought into the game.
Preference of moderation team. it’s really many themes with high voted up ((around 300-500) but its still not passed

I don’t think number of votes is a huge factor considering the ones below passed with 42 and 36 votes respectively yet suggestions with upwards of 5000 votes are still not passed

I’m not opposed to new vehicles and cosmetics being added but they don’t really change how the game is played all that much. The game is 12 years old and it’s been kind of stagnant ever since. Some could argue that modern vehicles changed the game a lot but it’s really just the same thing as before just… further away. We’ve had several threads asking for new game modes and improvements to current game modes but to no avail. Hell, I’ve even seen a player code an entire mechanic in a thread about reworking the respawns in ground and that was somehow ignored. I’ve seen suggestions that would require less effort than adding a new vehicle get ignored. I’ve even been frustrated enough to learn the CDK just to figure out how easy it would be to make changes to some game modes. It’s even more frustrating seeing players try to argue that adding some mechanics would be too hard to implement even though every asset needed already exist in the game files.

Generally we pass what looks intresting. And what we think would be a fun addition^^
That is the simplest answer i can give for my personal experience.
Things that are more unique are intresting so its what we suggest often enough^^
Would much prefer if it was things that would benefit the game, things that would add value, things that fill out lineups or gaps in tech trees or fill a gap in a nations abilities.
We do add stuff like that but more important there are a buttload of already suggested items that the devs can pick from that fits that role^^

I understand where you’re coming from but we should try to avoid specific vehicle requests in this thread. This thread was primarily made for the purpose of promoting gameplay and QoL improvement that would benefit multiple vehicles and game modes. Trust me I want the UH-1Y and Z-20, and LAV-25 added but none of the additions would change the gameplay much.
