eventually when we get the 114L’s i hope we have option to carry L8’s too. proximity fuze, fragmentation sleeve to deal with slow air targets. We’ve been getting trashed for years. (by other helis)
and this is the other reason why I want Brimstones to be replaced with Brimstone 2s even if they are limited to SAL. They have prox fuse

From my experience in the AH-64, I’ve only ever seen the Hellfires come down from above.
I have bug reported the pen on the Vikhirs, I was told “it was for balance purposes”
Also, why should it be nerfed still? In the modern war thunder, it should be restored.

Buddy Vikhr can go through smoke and can be targeted easily to enemy’s Heli spawn what else do you need?

Also, US aircraft get APWKS rockets which you can guide and do not give off a signal. They also outrange Vihkirs.

Nope just Vikhr, hellfires lose sight and goes straight to the ground after the enemy drops smoke.

IOG≠FnF mmW guidance
The Vikhrs and the Kh-38s have IOG in case primary guidance is lost,but IOG basically means that the missile will guide itself to the last known point. It means that if you get hit through smoke,you were either in the same spot (in that case why popping smoke?) or the enemy got super lucky and made a correct guess about your movement
mmW missiles ignore IR smoke as a whole,meaning you can pop a city-worth amount of smoke,the missile will still track you through it with zero problems.
That’s what we are patiently waiting: ECM systems to have at least a defensive tool against things like mmW missiles
That is also a needed addition, considering that most,if not all nations,can have a top tier MBT with APS (M1A2 SEP v3,Leo 2A8 and so on and so forth)
But,just like ECM smoke,you need to balance it.
How many time does in need for my tank to replenish the APS ammo,or the ECM smokes? Is that time equal to the time needed for a helicopter that carries mmW missiles to re-arm,point and launch those missiles?
We need the same answers for both questions in order to balance a powerful tool
