Turkish Ground Forces Tech Tree

Well, I only said this because Kazakhs already have a vehicle in the game by the name of the Su-25BM, anything indigenous and Soviet decent would just go to that tree. I can get it if it’s a Turkish vehicle though.

Ground does not need any copy paste Warsaw Pact equipment though we might use some Kazakh planes in Aviation Tech Tree. That being said our stance for ground forces is quite clear; only vehicles related to Turkey/Turkish Defence Industry will be included, we had pretty good Kazakhstan Sub-Tree post let me post it again here so you can check if you have not. Also appreciate your ideas, thank you mate.

But it wouldn’t go in line with what Gaijin has been doing in the past, just because it has a upgrade package from a certain nation doesn’t particularly mean it belongs in that tree. There’s plenty of examples of this, but I get your stance.

I would like to add additional info in regards to the Azeri JF-17’s

They are going to use Turkish (maybe Pakistani and Israeli) weapons instead of Chinese ones such as the Bozdoğan and Gökdoğan AAM for example

the 120mm tank HE has like 4.2kg explosive so it will probably have around 39-40mm pen ingame i dont have any info for the HE filler of the mortar shell

MOD 300 indeed has 4.2kg of explosive filler, MOD 308 on there other hand though has only 2.85kg of explosive filler. MOD 300 also offers superior ballistics as it is an conventional cannon round while MOD 308 is a mortar round. It is an interesting concept to fire both cannon and mortar rounds from the same cannon. In theory Mortar-Gun could use conventional HEAT rounds such as MOD 310 HEAT-MP.

In-game MOD 308 could be the standard round while MOD 300 as researchable option, even maybe proximity fused MOD 300 could be added to its arsenal.

Hello everyone.
I want to ask.
After Sabra mkII (aka M60T)
Turkey has not received update Sabra mk.III?
And Instead of it they make M60TM?

M60TM isnt Sabra mk.III?

The Sabra Mk.2 and M60T are 2 different vehicles entirely with loads of differences.

The Sabra Mk.3 was created around the same time as the Mk.2, it was likely an alternate option to be chosen if the Mk.2 wasn’t enough. However it appears the Mk.2 was chosen over the Mk.3.

Hmmm. I saw a lot source says that it is same.

So… If not, What is the connection between them?
And does Turks really buy 170 Sabra mkII?

The Sabra Mk.2 and M60T feature a number of differences, namely the M60T uses the hella old M60 commander cupola with the .50 cal, while also removing the extra roof armor the Sabra Mk.2 adds. There’s some other changes on top of that, just can’t remember them off the top of my head.

No, we did not go for any Sabra Mk. 3 based modernization package.

Correct, based on the experience from Operation Euphrates Shield.

No, it is M60T (based on Sabra Mk.2 but has few changes) modernized with Turkish efforts.

No, we purchased around 170 modernization kits, our existing M60A1 fleet was modernized.

Sabra Mk.2 was presented to us in 2002, and after their tests were complete and beated the 120S, they were purchased in 2005 with few changes and labeled as M60T, and first deliveries began in 2007.

The JF-17 is a good Addition as a Premium-Pack.
Pakistan-China co-produced JF-17 “Thunder” Block 3 warplanes belonging to the Azerbaijani Air Force will be equipped with Gökdoğan BVRAAM and Bozdoğan WVRAAM air-to-air missiles produced by the Turkish defense industry. Long-range air-to-air missile Gökdoğan BVRAAM was developed by the Turkish company TÜBİTAK-SAGE to compete with the long-range air-to-air missile AIM-120 AMRAAM produced by the USA. -DSA
