Yet it is not the place to voice your concerns. You need to use relevant subsections and threads to call for a fix/tweak regarding Chinese Tech Tree vehicles and their armaments. That’s how it works. Even the most basic thing about a vehicle can be wrong or bugged in the game and Gaijin strictly demands bug reports for those to fix. This has nothing to do with “Topic about Japan adds T-84 and VT-4”.
Thailand is not China.
By claiming the Thai VT-4 is Chinese, you are indirectly portraying that Thailand is part of China, which is it not.
Gaijin has broken no promises, Thailand and its vehicles is not China.
This is why people aren’t taking posts seriously. All we see are posts overtly lying about Thailand and Gaijin Entertainment while opposing the Thai VT-4.
And that’s putting things kindly while I cope with some IRL stress.
All of the concerns for the Chinese tech tree are identical to the concerns for the other 9 tech trees. Welcome to computer software and its limitations.

Yet again, we are reaching 2000 comments soon but the real people that is the victim of this massive issue is All the Thai players who wanted to play their own served vehicles in Royal Thai Armed Forces.
Then if Chinese players finally reached their will to not let Thai VT-4 to it’s place along side all the Thai vehicles then what about the rest of all the Thai players feeling have you even think about it? Thai players have to suffer from the problem they didn’t involved?
I really want all the people in this forum think about it again especially Chinese players that is currently in this topic that would you like to make even more sad things happen?
And I want to send an important message for all other players in the same time.
If you want others to do good to you, you should do good to others as well.

I think lot of people here argue on behalf of addition of VT-4 to thai subtree, myself included.

I’d speak on behalf of the Thai people, but doing so will make me look nasty, and when I’m already coping with some IRL stress, I don’t know if I could moderate myself correctly.
Needless to say I do not look kindly on those calling Thai military vehicles Chinese, and I at minimum sniff imperialism from that claim.

Thai playerbase is small, thus its concearns are to be overlooked; once you get community as large as Chinese, then you shall advocate for your concearns (following the logic some people here portray)

But Pakistan also trialed the Oplot-M in a competition for their new MBT in 2015. For the variant Pakistan would adopt, a specific Pakistani variant, the Oplot-P was prototyped.

While it ended up losing out to the VT-4, I still think since the Oplot-P was a unique variant for Pakistan it could be added.

I think it should be clear that most players agree that those issues need attention. The Thai VT-4 situation is the only point of argument, Chinese players have full support for the other concerns about their techtree and vehicles.

While I love China’s top end, it of course shares many bugs and historical issues the other 9 tech trees share.
I support fixing those when they’re able; just despite that I will still play the rather strong tech tree that is China.
Cause when all 10 tech trees have flaws, it’s not really something I get mad over.

Is it actually confirmed that the VT-4 is not coming to the Japanese tech tree as part of Thailand? Or did someone assume something and everyone started running with it anyway.
It was leaked as a premium to Thailand. Not sure if it’s because of the outrage or it’s unready, it was confirmed to not be coming this update. Gaijin has delayed it indefinitely since we’ve not heard news of it coming Dec update.
So, the entire kerfuffle is because a vehicle was leaked, didn’t even appear in the trailer, dev stream, or dev server, meaning it probably wasn’t coming this update anyway. Gaijin said “yeah, it’s not coming this update” and because they’re not saying “it’s coming in December” people think it’s been cancelled entirely?
I know which leak you’re talking about and whilst yes, they tend to be relatively accurate, there’s still lots of things leaked by the same source that haven’t come into fruition yet so despite the accuracy, they are by no means gospel.
Did the forums really go apeshit because of basically speculation and as of the time of writing unproven leaks?
that AND some people think that thai VT-4 = chinese VT-4 and china cant be seen as being conquered by japan, because thats what subtree implies.
While I might understand the historical issues between china and japan, I have absolutely no clue what they have to do with thai tank.

I thought the VT4 is going to be added to Chinas Tree? VT4A1 is in Chinas Tree as well.
If Thai VT4 in Japan is no problem why would a potential Oplot in USSR Tree a problem?
Should just bundle together Trees nowadays, its just a mess anyway already. Everyone having this and that of someone else due to Subtrees or Copy/Paste, some Nations aren’t even the Nation they are supposed to be when its multiple of Countries randomly mashed together as how Gaijin sees fit xy Nation needs to be filled with and then also ignores if it makes sense or not historically, geographically, culturally or whatever. Might as well just turn the Trees into ‘Anglo Sphere’ , ‘East Asia’, ‘Central/North Europe’ and what not at this point. Would actually look better than the mess it is now and increasingly becoming more

Im gonna overlook your condescending tone, for now at least, and just gonna calmly ask.
Do you think that thailand = japan? If not, then whats the issue. Thai VT-4 is going to Thai subtree.
Then the fix should be to more clearly define Thailands national identity, a fix that’s long overdue for subtrees in general.
Saying that Thai players just shouldn’t get their tank is not fair.

Adding ukrainian Oplot to USSR would be like adding chinese VT-4 to Japan TT. It would be rather bad idea due to historical stuff.
However theres no chinese VT-4 being added to Japan. There is however, a thai VT-4 that can be added to japan.

Thailand and Japan are on good terms, and Thailand purchases Japanese machinery.
Ukraine and Russia [seen as the successor of USSR by millions] are not.
There is a massive difference between those two situations.
China is entirely uninvolved in either of those cases.
