No, I wont be playing Naval after you guys ruined Naval Arcade aiming, and have completely and totally ignored all requests from the Naval community for a conversation, or at the very least a response to the negative feedback. I have been polite and extremely patient. But my patience is pretty much worn out now.
I have pinged you guys multiple times now, and NOT ONCE have you even acknowledged my posts.
Very rude. I have 0 intention of playing Naval anymore at this point, and have just been playing other games. I am quite offended by this dismissive behavior.
Threads with player feedback about the Naval changes. Not a single reply from the Devs/Mangers/Mods, on ANY of the threads:
March 18th: I was actually in favor of the Naval Arcade aiming changes initially:
March 22nd, my final conclusions against (most of) the Naval changes:
March 23rd, my poll thread created:
In addition, even when we make bug reports about the changes that were made to Naval (or any other modes), we have the Bug Reporting Managers closing our reports without even understanding OR READING the actual report. AND I pinged you guys MULTIPLE times about this, and again I was completely ignored:
March 18th: Bug Report Submitted, and linked on main thread:
March 18th: First attempt to contact you guys about the Bug Reporting Managers incorrectly closing my report:
March 19th: Second attempt to contact mangers/mods:
NOPE. No more Naval for me, or any more money from me until we get a real response and plan on corrections from the Devs. I have had my fill of this nonsense.
And once again to show that I am not just some free loader complaining, I have spent HUNDREDS of $'s on my Naval lineups. I at LEAST deserve a response from you guys:

I would have started playing Naval (Arcade) a long ago if it was not for the silly anticheat requirement.
My system barely handles this game at decent settings without such bloatware in the background AND it is not required in Ground Arcade and Air Arcade, so why Gaijin decided to cripple Naval Arcade with it is beyond me. Remove the anticheat requirement and more people will play Naval Arcade.
I think the problem is unlike air and ground, naval arcade rewards nearly the same or even the same as realistic and naval seems to be perticularly vulnerable to botters
So probably best to keep the anti cheat on arcade naval for now
I wish these ships had the chance to play like this in the actual game.
They should NEVER be able to face the current 7.0s or half the 6.7s as they do now… compression is way too extreme. The legendary ships of the Battle of Jutland are naturally stomped and rendered obsolete by Scharnhorsts, Mutsus, Colorados, Hoods, etc.
This event finally allows these ships to shine and be fun and balanced for once.
Just played a match, sunk 2 ships, got 1000 points at the end. I guess for just a decal its too much to grind 20.000 points. Its roughly 20 matches, its way off.
Yeah. Im debating whether or not I can be bothered. Its an interesting gamemode for a match or 2, but I dont know if I’ve got 20+ matches in me just for a decal that I’ll probably never even use.
It’s not that bad as you face lots of cruisers. But the 6.0 German battleship guns may struggle even against them in longer range (10km+) which is frustrating.
I think the biggest problem is that ticket bleed is way too fast. Battleship battles are a death by a thousand cuts. A 45 minute battle is reduced to 10-15 minutes as soon as one team gets a sliver of a capture point. 20,000 points is hard work just for a decal as the game has barely started before its over due to ticket bleed
Bots have a lot to do with how capture points allot, which is another reason I loath them. They often determine the outcome of the match. It’s EOMM in full effect.
Nice idea to finally have a Jutland/WW1 event where these dreadnought battleships can fight out the big gun engagement they were designed for without any jets or super-props in the skies. If only there could be a permanent version of this event for the WW1-era ships. However:
Why run the event at the same time as another WW1 event? Considering the actual anniversary of Jutland is just a few weeks away.
SP are easy enough to earn, so when the Germans sink an enemy it’s potentially replaced by a Barham every time. Maybe a fixed 350 SP, so if a Barham is sunk that player is out (need to adjust the 0 SP ships)?
Just get rid of the cap and let the battle run it’s course. Winner would be team with most points or kills. That would feel more like a real big gun fleet action. In conjunction with the suggested fixed SP it would also help balance a low-SP-multi-ship lineup v a best-ship-one-life lineup.
Overall it’s a good mode to enjoy the selected ships, but there’s no real incentive to complete the actual event.
removing 3 respawn cap is also will help balance, maybe even better, giving players opportunity to switch for costal if needed or run 4 and more big ships if died too quickly.
Yes, I assumed that when I suggested a fixed starting SP - you spawn/respawn in whatever you have the points for and everyone has the same points. But the game needs to last a decent time for that mechanic to have any sort of balancing effect; in a short game it will always be standard WT biggest is best.
