So why are bug reports being denied for the F-14 to get the AoA limited switch?

For the same reasons as all others. Reports are currently not being accepted solely on the basis of the switch existing. There needs to be sufficient flight performance to support the presence of the AoA feature in game that would make it meaningful and useful and not simply just a crash for most people.

This may well change in the future.

Anyone else getting stuttering with the major update?
0% PL, 200+ FPS, still getting stutters :shrug:

If pretty sure most would agree the F-14 fits this description…

It has the ability to turn off SAS and the first gen Harriers didn’t have any pitching limit.

The Harriers can pull in excess of 45 degrees AOA up to .5 Mach.

Thrust vectoring also increased ITR significantly, it does not in game.

I’m honestly ok if the Naval AB aiming goes back, even though I do enjoy the new easier aiming in AB. However I think easier AB aiming will pull more players in, and those who really don’t like it could shift to RB instead, boosting player numbers for both. But the biggest issue is still the massive compression in the Naval 6.0-7.0 BRs.

EDIT #2: The “Realistic Aiming” does not work in Arcade Matches currently. I consider this a bug, have submitted a report: Community Bug Reporting System

EDIT #1: (Read Edit #2 above first) You can change your Naval AB mode to RB aiming, but I think we should advocate to be able to choose between all 3 aim modes for Naval AB. Instructions to change to RB aiming in spoiler below:

The Harrier is the only plane that can maintain flight after full departure so what are you talking about?

Does any other jet in game have reaction control jets throughout the plane?

Many different aircraft do. This is not the criteria for adding the AoA control feature.

This doesn’t even make sense the Harrier has no AOA limit and was known for using VIFF as a defensive pull in many situations.

They still are lacking the majority of there performance. Nobody even knows why, they buffed them this update but apparently didn’t even read the sources presented in the bug reports.

I have not had FPS/stuttering issues. I am however using DX 12 with a 3090ti, so that might be why I’m not having issues.

Why are rocks on the desert map brown? I’ve never seen brown rocks that size and color. I have seen turds that look just like the new rocks though. You know the kind that remain after the snow melts. Please make rocks grey or black or any other color that won’t make it look like you are flying above a litter pan when you are in a plane.

tbf yeah I’m on the linux client + Vulcan + 4070ti, just curious if it’s just me.

Just to make it clear - the EEGS Module is now visible in the X-Ray of the Finnish F-18C. I cannot test it out myself, as I haven’t finished grinding …

EEGS Module was not showing on the DEV server. I wonder if people ever really tested it or if was a conclusion like the engine thrust, which was just an issue on first DEV server.

How technically this should be working, its different from the F-16C, have i added into the forum and the bug report attached.

Advance to the Rhine looks terrible. Somehow you managed to make it worse. Outsourcing maps was a terrible idea…

Did you change the crew voice logic again? My driver no longer says he’s starting the engine and I also don’t get voicelines for hitting the enemy. I tried verifying game files and the (assumed) issue persists. I really do hope this wasn’t an actual change

If i may wonder, why, like dont get me wrong i just want to wonder on what ground those changes were made before this heli you stated reasons of some changes in planes/helis but here is none
how come?

On another note, gaijin, where are the Dutch crew Voice Lines, why you can and willing to add voice lines to only 1 Lithuanian tank but not to 4 Dutch tanks?

When will the new sounds be released on GitHub for fmod studio?

They don’t have to do that, just give an option for manual aiming like before.
