We got the Chi -Ri and Panther F as techtrees which weren’t exactly fully finished either. (Maybe the Panther F was, but still questionable)
And Gaijin can be generous, as shown that they just added the Wm 23 Ezüst nyíl to the tree, while the real life vehichle never had his weapons actually fitted…

Weapons usually is not an issue for planes, we have multiple of them, Finnish VL Pyörremyrsky is literally still sitting in museum unarmed. Ho.229 (V3 also didn’t fly iirc), Fokker D.XXIII, XF5U, XP-50, BV.238, SO.8000 Narval, VB.10-01, maybe something else.
The main requirement is to have the first flight (with some exceptions).

This thread is emblematic of the issue I have with subtrees as they are currently implemented. It just feels like a loophole to get random vehicles from Nation A into Nation B without even having a direct connection to said vehicles.

Well regarding old Panther, actually all 3 nations get connection. Romania used them postwar, Hungary during WW2, while Italy despite didn’t have them in service, had plans to build its own version.
Despite copypaste, it would actually be quite an interesting addition with Hungarian and Romanian colors, plus potential Italian camos from market.
