I’m talking more about subtrees. If you want to use irl US export as a reason to spam US vehicles to every country that used them sure, but then also use irl military and defence industry of a country instead of giving them stuff they never made or used through subtree
Bar the German ABGP/LAV-1(should be a Canadian or the British tree) and Russian Czech Grippen (should be in a Czechoslovakia (or one with Poland) tree.

Well first you have to understand the meaning of a sub nation, which is a nation locked within a nation.
This way you can have two nation representing their tech without spaming nations.
But also it’s away for gaijin to way to boost or to fill holes within nations, nations of today only use a selection of tech. We will use Italy here with there modern day fleet :
Tornado,
F-16,
Typhoon,
F-35,
That’s 4 jet’s max they can have alone but now with Hungary they can have an extra 2 to make that 6.
Every one has a unique armament to play with.
If we just have historical nations with no subs, how many would you think would play Italy ?
So if the Romanian AM has a unique armament compared the to Italian F-16 then that would a caveat reason to add it.

4 seperate rank 8 airframes (av8b+) is better variety than almost any other nation
And about the same number of ppl would play Italy since most of the people who play it play it because they want to play Italy, not because they are meta chasing
Well not really since if they don’t add anymore top tier aircraft to Italy people would stop playing them, as say if the US got 5 new top tier aircraft in a year and Italy only got one. people would moan about the Italian tree being dead.

Without Hungary they’d be on par or better than major nations in variety already.
And they still have later EFT and ofc the F-35 down the line, as well as any upgrades to their own F-16’s.

Even with F-35 a long ways away, they still have multiple options. And are on par with major nations in variety without Hungary, like I said in previous post
I’ve just looked at the AM and it’s got all the bells and whistles the ADF hasn’t gotten for BVR combat
So that will be the reason why gaijin could add it

The ADF was only ever meant to a stopgap until EFT iirc (irl). Which is sort of what it did in-game. Doesn’t make sense to give Italy better F-16 when they have the Eurofighter
Would be nice if more domestic planes were added for nations but at the same time, NATO been sharing jets with each other for decades and america have sold F16s to everyone and their mother. tho Kinda miffed china get NATO jets instead of their own domestic ones. Why would they of all nations need copypasted F16s or Mirages?

You can throw the trialed leopard into the US on that list. Vehicles only being trialed are acceptable not to mention we don’t have the true leopard thunder yet. Also could add M1A2 to GBR cause GD tried marketing it. Add any Canadian vehicles to the US TT will also peeve some people aswell.

Oh yeah, fun fact, ASRAAM integration on the F-18 was done partly by the US Navy in the USA. Same thing with foreign weapons integration for the F-35. Which means US F-35’s can get about any weapons that’s usable on an F-35, and ASRAAM on our hornet without even needing the Australian one (which is what the Navy was doing it for)
Wdym? I’m not really familiar with what F-16 Italy used, but like I said it was only a stopgap for EFT delivery so I doubt they used a ton

Those 3 variants, if added every other update are a years worth of just eurofighters. Italy ground will surely still be expanding though, they do have quite a bit more actual Italian stuff to add
