The AHEAD on the PGZ is not as reliable as you would expect, I find they’re slightly better at killing helicopters and about the same for jets. Compared to the Sgt York’s HEVT it’s like firing the Wish edition.
Only having 40 APDS rounds to defend yourself against anything bigger than a light tank also massively blows.
Only 23k off my F15E and every match i see Gripens its just free food lmao. All fun and games u til they are on my team and then we get nuked. Top tier meta is so boring lol, i need to see something new pls snail, literally its the same jets with the same playstyles i need something that makes players play differently. Or new game modes i beg
And what exactly can the AH-64E do that the AH-64D can’t (that would actually matter for the game)?
I don’t really know much about Kamovs, but I am pretty sure the USSR doesn’t need better KA-50/52 variants and the Ka-35 apart there aren’t any other Kamovs worth adding anyways.
With the absence of MMW, the AH-64E for Britain would likely not be the most useful at this time, as it would just be a sidegrade to the AH Mk1 (AH-64D).
The better/more useful addition would be the Wildcat as its armed with Martlet missiles which can be IR guided. Giving us a FnF option
And many of them do have options that have yet to be added. So im not sure where you are going with this.
quite a bit of those options are US and USSR helicopters though. so theyll come to US and USSR as well anyways.
also arent you guys getting JAGM’s? those are an upgrade over hellfires, especially the MR which has a tri mode seeker (mmw can be not added but will have IR and Laser)
I’d want the Indonesian AH-64E for Japan for example and that has only the engines over the D as far as game relevant differences go, without the weaponry upgrades they had in US service. (Though compared to the Japanese one it finally brings MAWS to the tree too)
So I can absolitely understand someone wanting the US one that brings even more new content to the table.
Many are, but many arent. In fact the only US helis outstanding for Britain is the AH-64E and an AH-60 built by Britain , the other non British is a BAE MI-24D. The other 10 or so suggestions are all British designed and built. Mostly variants of existing vehicles we already in including a number of Lynxs’ but all great options. Interestingly the Wildcat hasnt actually been suggested yet. I may have a suggestion in my future.
Yes, JAGM is the main AGM planned for the AH-64E. But I have no idea about the JAGM-MR. But the JAGM are SAL+MMW iirc so will only be SAL currently as they have no plans to add MMW.
The main reason at the moment for the AH-64E would probably be for Brimstones no JAGM with teh absense of MMW, but would still be SAL only, just with better range
So for FnF capability we are better off with the Martlet on the Wildcat which is an 8km range missile with SAL, IR, IIR, INS and GPS guidance modes. Also the Wildcat can carry 20 of them :P
Yeah, they exist just like the T-14 Armata, AbramsX, KF-51, etc.
These missiles not having entered service means there is no way of knowing if they will actually end up being used in the configuration they currently have been tested in and on the vehicles that they have been tested on or projected to be used on so far.
Plus, how is gaijin gonna get reliable info on these things anyways?
So only really Japan, France and Israel is waiting on “US helis” and China and Israel on “soviet helis” and out of those, they have non-US/USSR options available except for Israel it seems
Eurocopter = Airbus/Europe
Westland = British
Agusta = Italian
Leonardo = Anglo-Italian
Sikorsky = US
