But is it not better to buff/fix ASMs so they do more consistant damage than just pretend those weapon types dont exist?
Seems the default half the time isnt:

i had times where it took way more ASMs like 4 or 5
it is not that they are neccessairly broken it is that bombs are way more effective in war thunder
more that WW2 destroys are pretty thin so would most likely fly straight through if it doesn’t hit engine or something thick enough to arm the warhead !
Also its still why modern ship designs are made they way they are it is to make the missile go right through instead of having something that wouldn’t, that’s why bombs and torps are still a big threat today!

That too. But then, its about time we actually had more modern AI ships to drop bombs and stuff on. They dont need ot be as detailed as playable ships and the models largely exist already from WTM
Really wierd flying a 14.0 from late 2000s, early 2010 in ASB, whislt being fired at by a WW2 German destroyer whilst shooting down F-86 Sabres.

I may. Thoguh we are still waiting for things like new maps and the fact we havent gotten one of those in 3 years, means that adding new AI models is even less likely.
and MythicPi already has a load of suggestions up for improving most of the objectives
I also dont really see the point of making suggestions at the moment. I’ve got several that are 3 years old. Still not been passed to the devs and would be really solid QoL improvements.

Some newer AI targets throughout the game would be great. I got a suggestion pending for some cargo aircraft as AI air targets I made after the French moments of valour and seeing the A400M but it’s taking it’s time to get approved.
Saying that actually apparently there are some plans for a “gunship mode” set of upgrades for the A400M from France that would allow some guided weapons to be employed by it like how the AC-130 can use guided munitions from under the wings.
I am on the forum side of things so I have nothing to say about the Suggestions side of things but I imagine there is massive back log.
