I think having large maps with lots of cover would be better, maybe with a small town in the middle with cap points. That plays into NATO strengths (sniping) and Soviet strengths (Brawling).

I see both lists and I am reminded that we won’t see 90% of them because Gaijin wasn’t smart and added them as a sub-tree(to a nation that didn’t need one) despite the fact people can easily prove the BeNeLux had more than enough.

ASRAAM lacks datalink (or at least that we know of) so you couldn’t guide it past the launch, it uses LOAL + IOG instead, but using PIRATE it can be launched ‘passively’ as can any IR but the advantage of PIRATE is that its intended as a primary sensor deliberately designed because the UK believed that Soviet stealth and EW would make their radars ineffective, therefore its comparable in effectiveness to the radar sets of the time that it was conceived.
You could however guide something like an AMRAAM all the way in without it going active/pitbull using the 2-Way datalink function unique to PIRATE and Typhoon which most other aircraft lack either lacking missiles with 2-way datalink or lacking 2-way datalink . This means you could ‘stealth’ launch from 100km’s away and give no warning unless the other aircraft has MAWS which is surprisingly rare, even the newest F-15EX does not have MAWS yet and they’re not even sure if they will fit it (though fitted for but not with is an option as the blisters are there but you get my point).

I love and hate this vehicle, more specifically the extremely tall turret ring. Some add on armor around the frontal part of the ring to smooth it out would be great lol
