Its not usuable. You can get away with the 13.7 but not when you have to keep lock

F-2 is best 13.0 after su-27 imo, sure it’s terrible at long range, unlike the su-27, but within like 10km the aam3s really come to life.
Sparrows are sparrows though and they will always suck which is why f-2 will probably never be as good as the su-27 variants at 13.0.
Unless the f-2 gets something like the aam4 (which will jsut make it a copy paste of the tech tree one and will put it at 13.7) or gets aim 7ps it’s not going to be the absolute best.
f-2 adtw is amazing, playing against the undertiered su-30 premium is annoying but i still manage to do 4-5 kills depending of the game, aam3 are magic 2 with even more range making them crazy good, otherwise why do you take bombs ?
Since I’ve mentioned it a lot, finally decided to get around to bug reporting the F-2’s FM for stuff like mach scheduling on MLC. Also noticed though that since CA should only apply to the stabilizers and not the flaperons, some other behavior there would also need to be changed to fix the issue, which atp would require a near entire rework of the response behavior of the aircraft due to how some stuff internally on the FM works, but anyways…

The only reason i use the f2 nowadays is to get silver. Its usually easy as not many even go for the bases at 13.0. Only other jets iv bombed with are kfir, mirage and harrier - rat race straight line only, F2 way more peaceful

Does anyone know why a sniper has angles of ±89 on the horizon? his “head” rotates and, in theory, he should have the same ±155 on the horizon as he does down.

Sucks that it doesn’t get Aim-7P’s, but from my experience is a pretty solid jet, managed to speedrun the JP tree with it.
AAM-3s are insanly good to sneak up on people, the Aim-7M’s are bad but not unbearable to use.
