I mean even if you compare MiG-23 to 11.3 and 12.0, it still comes out as a fairly great aircraft.
Its completely outmatched against most 12.0s. The mirage f1 is the only one id say it competes with. Mig23 would be likely the best 11.3 aircraft but not by a wide margi

yeah alright i did forget FCU was there, but thats mostly FCU being cracked for 11.3 rather than anything
F4E, j7e,Kurnass is arguably better
None of those are arguably better, they’re just worse jets. F-4E/Kurnass both are very good, and not THAT much worse than 23MLD, but they are definitely not as good. J-7E is limited by only having the 4 IR missiles.

4 sarh, much better rwr, much better gun, and on the kurnass arguably better fox 2s, and i forgot the radar is bad but atleast ir always guides my missile, the mig23 just decides to not work alot
It shouldn’t go down in BR, and it’s fine at 11.7.
It also can’t go up due to its RWR being quite terrible. The MLD has a better RWR, at the expense of not being able to detect fellow Mig-23s.

I dont see how it would be a problem at 11.3. Mig23ml ad 11.3 is more balanced than f14iran at 12.7.
Its absolutely not the best solution, decompressing would be better ofc, it would be fine at 11.3 if 10.3s werent so bad very often

the fact MLD is just better than most 11.3-11.7 jets and is leagues better than anything at 10.7-11.0? you realize the old meta had MLD at 11.3 and that was BEFORE the BRs went up and they decompressed? Why are you asking to return to compression?

Leayd properly track when they miss its either because they were dodged pr because i launched them st a bad point. R24rs never get dodged dure but its not relelvsnt as they decided to either eat shit into the ground, mot track or simply trsck wrongly very often. Its likely a radar problem but the source if the issue doesnt matter as much as the result of said issue.
Are we forgetting that r60s were nerfed, floght model was nerfed, and radar was strongly nerfed?
