The removal of the R2Y2s is absurd they are purging Japanese planes from the Japanese-tree replacing them with non-japanese copy paste aircraft!
This leaves Japan with only a 7.0 and a 7.7 jet meaning you need to fill in the last spot with a propeller aircraft.
Somehow China and Israel is allowed to have a minimum of 3 for Arcade that is bollocks!!!
Oh I saved the best for last…
Next up Italy! Japan is not the only nation that has not enough aircraft in it’s BR7 or below rating on rank 5 Italy also has the same problem!
Actually here it is even worse they go straight from G.56 and 109s to BR8 and the lowest they have is ONE BR7.7?!! Bruh…
How can I make Gaijin listen instead of tossing more universal backups at us? :(
What are you suggesting Italy should do? Or Japan?
Italy is a nice nation for arcade, it has a wonderful lineup in rank V. You can use all their rank V planes in an 8.3 working lineup except for one. So you either drop a Fiat or the MiG to stay at 8.3.
For Japan, you got a small korean war lineup at 8.0 with which you could grind further. The ww2 jet aircraft are isolated orchids which you will better play in RB. Not sure if the new tree additions will cover that gap. Few nations actually had very early jets, unless they were the actual winners of ww2.

Italy could get a ton of different subsonic jets including those which would fill this area, Japan could get T-33, maybe something else.

Description: The Fiat G82 was an Italian post-war jet fighter/trainer. It was the development of the Fiat G80. After the experience with the G80 Fiat, we tried to improve some performance since the test proved that the aircraft needed some improvements. The biggest change was regardless of the propulsion, where the de Havilland Goblin was replaced with the more powerful Rolls Roice Nene. This was actually the biggest and most important change compared to the previous model. Thanks…

Aermacchi MB-326B

This suggestion has been made to support the Italian Aviation Tech Tree in War Thunder, specifically CAS aircraft, which the tree severely lacks.
Hello! This time I would like to resuggest an aircraft, which, in my opinion, should make a good start for the whole family of Italian Aermacchi planes in War Thunder, this plane is called MB-326B. Despite Aermacchi MB-326 were meant to be trainer jet aircraft (following Aeronautica Militare Italiano speci…

After various changes to the starting project requested by the Aereonautica Militare, the two prototypes were started in 1956, and the first one flew for the first time at Lonate di Pozzolo on December 10,…

The mock-up was also fitted with some of the components of the real aircraft for marketing. The first rolled out from Vergiate in March 1981, and it m…

Aermacchi MB-339A
[unknown]
This suggestion has been made to support the Italian Aviation Tech Tree in War Thunder, specifically CAS aircraft, which the tree severely lacks.
Hello, War Thunder player! Today I would like to resuggest the implementation of a very beautiful plane - Aermacchi MB-339, which main goal in real life is to train Italian student pilots, though it’s also a nice close air support aircraft. The variant I suggest is Aermacchi MB-339A, this is the most common and …

The history of the T-33A traces back to the Lockheed P-80/F-80 aircraft, which was conceptualized in 1943 and marked the dawn of operational jet fighters in the United States. Recognizing the need to train pilots on the intricacies of flying these new-generation fighters, a decision was made to repurpose the P-80 aircraft into a dedicated training platform, giving rise to the T-33.
On March 22, 1948, the first iteration of the T-33, initially designated as TF-80C, gracefully took…

Given how much of a focus is placed on armament in Arcade (With the Ki-84 with 30mms still being at 7.something IIRC), a jet with only 2 .50s would end up at a pretty wacky BR.
While some of the italian planes you link are interesting, only the T-33 would clearly be in the first jet BR range. Those other trainer/attackers would be rather near 8.0, if you judge by the alpha jet BR. Or they end up as rank IV, like the strikemaster.
I don’t mind their addition, but I don’t think Italy has a problem with rank V in arcade to begin with.
