Title says it all… Playing that thing at 9.7 is disgusting and shows terrible understanding of the vehicles in this game and how to balance them tell whoever decided this to go destroy your competitors idea’s and his bad idea’s are no longer welcome at Gaijin

It was already fine at 11.0 and just got lowered for no reason. It’s a bit worse than MiG-21bis but not THAT bad. Still competent kit at 11.0.

Yes, it has been talked about for ages and we all know it should be 11.0. It would be great if you would use the forum search function to look for these threads and not make new ones.

The J-7D airframe is 10.3 rn cause its MiG-21M. It just have slightly better rear aspect missiles. And i havent got a single 9.7 in my J-7D at all, every game i get is usually uptier to 11.3 or 11.7

The Mig-21SMT/MF is a 10.7 plane at 10.3 because Gaijin is incapable of balancing the game.
The J-7D should be 11.0, and the Mig-21Bis should be 11.3.

No it wasn’t, I bought it at 11.0 and it was very nice. 10.7 just makes it OP.

The contrail changes and PL-5B flare resistance made it unplayable, couldnt climb to 6k to sling PL-5Bs on 3km from above as everyone saw you and focused u with SARH or one random flare or preflare in furball made the missile miss.
You can still climb and fire from long ranges.
Go just below contrail height, and launch your PL-5Bs at distracted enemies 2.5-4Km away.
It just too good for 10.7 in my opinion.

I am not really getting downtiers with it. And if anything A-5C shouldnt be 10.7, its 9.3 airframe. 10.3 was okay for it.

I’m going to call ragebait on this one. You could not be more wrong.
In my personal experience full down tiers are probably 1/25-1/30 games but 10.3-11.3 games are frequent and allow you to climb without the fear of R-24Rs.

Yes, it’s irony. That’s the trash system… they don’t want to fix it, ok. But you know, it will be sometime they’ll regret it. There is ALWAYS that time. All it needs is 1 serious title as a competitor…
As someone who had it when it was fighting F-16A and MiG-29A, that was more playable than the later 11.0 it was at.
You have 1.12 K/D in your J-7D, meanwhile i have 1.74. So i would say i am doing much better doing what i did with it.
the j7d is very very good at the br it sits at… i dobut its br is gonna get increased soon based on the fact that the last time i played it there were 4 people bombing in it
