I have 6.7 K/D ratio in my J7D and i achieved this when it was 11.0.
It was quite fine in its previous br, right now its kinda op.
I maintained a 3 to 1 K/D ratio with it at 11.0 😅
I’m also very bad at the game and that’s decent for me, my own opinions don’t need to hold weight in your mind
3.6K/D here but before decompression.
It could be ways better if I played after decompression.
Whatever, J-7D struggled at 11.0 is just delusional.

ever think the reason you don’t get down tier cause your avg kdr is high so you get balanced by the game to fight higher rank aircraft ? :/ cause i know i do and i suck at planes but my ground kdr puts me in full uptiers in air rb cause yes…
if there is alot of posts wouldn’t that help to have multiple cause clearly there is an issue ? pretty sure if you had kids would them asking for chocolate once get them the chocolate ? or will asking them over n over till you give in get them the chocolate ? just saying ;)

The thing is , people on the forum either Russian Vehicle le good and X nation le bad and gaijin is a bad dev for making russian vehicle Op and other nation weak. So any real issue that desperately need attention never get any real attention. That why these type of thread need more than once

Might be, i bought it couple months ago so it had already better engine.
I think it’s pretty funny that people act like this is the see all be all. The J-7D is a good plane, but the missiles are debatably worse than an Aim-9L, with no All-aspect capabilities and bad flare resistance and not to mention the airframe and the engine aren’t too great. It has a worse engine than the BIS, (sharing the same as the 21S, I believe) and it is a Mig-21 airframe. It doesn’t have good energy retention(while some may argue this is good, I think it hurts it since it usually loses all of its energy while trying to get a missile off.) Either way, my personal belief is that it isn’t very good in the perspective of the bad combination of rear-aspect missiles and bad energy retention to go along with mediocre guns.

Not arguing for whatever BR changes, but you guys need to know they J-7D has a really bad airframe. On top of poor rate fighting/energy retention, it also isn’t that fast.
plus F5E at same br with crazy performance
Literally on of the best air frames on 10.7 + PL-5B
All you need to do is not turn that much or not turn at all and keep going at mach +1
pl5b is a r60mk with extra range minus flare resistance
PL-5B is a fast as fuck missile that will reach you in less than 3 seconds at 2km that burns so fast you dont even see its flight path, there is a reason J-7E went up after the br changes
