Israel TT Wishlist - What are we lacking? (Work in progress...)

First of all, Im gonna mention Israel vehicles and weapons that we are lacking in the TT right now and didnt get passed to developers to this day (29/10/2025, also excluding Tier I - III vehicles and the announced M113 HVMS Zelda). But the future Greece and Cyprus as subtree im just gonna add things that have links with Israel, that means im not gonna add leopards, su30 and those type of things, also not other no official subtrees like Chile, Turkey or Colombia. If you think something is missing, please put it in the comments so I edit the post later.

Already passed to devs vehicles, modifications and weapons: List of Previously Suggested Ideas - Israel Ground Forces
Tier I - III: Israeli early Ground forces (rank 1-2-3)

Ground vehicles:

IS-3

Captured IS-3 heavy tanks from Egypt during the 1967 Six Day War. It got its engine replaced with V-54 engines from T-54A tanks. It was later used by the IDF during The War of Attrition as bunkers in the Tempo (Okral) position on the Bar Lev Line.

M113 Carmel prototypes tech demostrator (not suggested)

Carmel upgrade for the old M113 apc, technically the vehicle its remotly controlled (a ground drone) but it could also carry 2 crew members using the Iron Vision (360 degree vision and AI spotting).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Kok-w7Zgok

There is different versions of the Carmel:

I - Dome (suggested)

The Iron Dome is one of the last layers of defense that Israel has to defend against incomming munitions (such as rockets, missiles and mortars) and drones that the main layer couldnt intercept (david sling), but they can also shoot planes and helicopters if they are in range (even if it is not its main task).
This vehicle uses 15 - 20 Tamir missiles interceptors (depending in the platform), these missiles have range between 4km - 70km and a max speed of Mach 2.2. (The G-overload its not officialy stated but we could guess 50G or more?). The blast fragmentation warhead weights 11kg and the proximity fuse activates at 10 meters from the target.

Platform with 20 tamir missiles

Platform with 15 tamir missiles (Also US could get this one)

Possible radar mobile platform

Suggestion: Rafael Iron Dome - Protector of the Skies

David Sling (not suggested)

The David Sling its the main defense layer Israel has against ballistic/cruise missiles and enemy aircrafts (such as planes, drones or jets).
It can carry up to 12 stunner interceptors, this missile has a range of 40 km- 300km with also 15km altitude. It doesnt have a proximity fuse, so it literally need to touch the target to destroy it, also it doesnt have explosive filler, that means it depends in the kinetic energy of its 400kg weight and speed of Mach 7.5. Also it uses its multi-pulse rocket motor to perform significant turns, allowing it to intercept maneuvering targets (no especific G-overload).

Radar platform

Barak MX with also Cyprus flag (not suggested)

It is an integrated air defense system from Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) designed to intercept a wide range of threats such as aircraft, drones, and missiles. It has been implemented in several countries such as Colombia, Cyprus, India and Morocco. A typically battery uses 3 launchers of 8 missiles each one (total of 24), but there are escenarios they use 4 only per launcher.

It can carry 4 barak missiles with different max ranges:

  • BARAK ER: 150Km Dual pulse rocket motor + Booster, with speed of Mach 3
  • BARAK LR: 70Km Dual pulse rocket motor, with speed of Mach 2
  • BARAK MR: 35km range Single pulse rocket motor, with speed of Mach 2
  • BARAK SR: 15km range, with speed of Mach 2
Couldnt find info about G-overload or explosive weight, but it should be equal or more than 22kg (Barak 1 missile). They all have proximity fuse but also no idea how much meters.

Merkava IV "Barak (not suggested)"

Its a modernized Merkava IV but the commander got a new panoramic sight (thanks to the VR helmets Iron Vision with 360° view) and an AI that has autonomous behaviour, and its capable of identyifing targets and objects by themselves (Like if Arcade Battles comes to Realistic Battles). It keeps the Trophy APS just as the Merkava 4M. About armour, gun, ammunition, and engine still the same.

image

image

M113 RCWS-30 (with different armour and APS) (suggested)

In the early 2000s, presented the M113 RCWS-30 Rafael prototype, which was brought to the level of an infantry fighting vehicle. Featuring a 30mm bushmaster autocannon and 2 spike launchers ready to fire. The ballistic protection of the vehicle was enhanced by installing a set of Armor Shield armor, different models of which provide protection against ammunition in calibers from 12.7 to 30 mm. In addition, the prototype was also equipped with the Trophy APS active protection system.

M113A3 RCWS-30. Modernizing a cursed box!

M113 MACV (whatever the name is idk) with also greek flag (not suggested)

A proposal by the Israeli company Elbit Systems to convert Greek M-113s into armored combat vehicles (MACVs).
The proposal assumes a weight of 16-20 tons, a new 350-380 hp engine, a lightweight modular 1.2-ton turret based on the Mk30UT, armed with a 30mm cannon, and the possibility of integrating an ATGM launcher. Also it has some new add on armour.

image

image

M113 SAMSON with also Greek flag (suggested)

Rafael Advanced Defense Systems proposition to upgrade the Hellenic Army´s M113 with SAMSON Mini Remote Weapon Station, a compact yet potent turret system designed for light combat vehicles and high-mobility armored units. The turret has a dual-axis stabilised 30mm M230LF autocannon and 2 ready to fire spike atgm.

image

image

M113A1 (SAMSON Dual RWS)

Tiran 5 (not suggested)

Captured T-55, it doesnt have any modifications, that means it keeps the D-10T 100mm cannon and the DShk top mg.

image

Tiran 5Sh (not suggested)

Modified Tiran 5, replacing the 100mm cannon with a M68 105mm one, and the DShk was replaced by 2 x FN MAG 7.62 mgs. Also it got a fixed to the cannon M2 Browning. In 1997 it was exported to Uruguay.

Humvee TOW (not suggested)

US made Humvees equiped with a TOW launcher, but the main difference between the US humvees TOW its that Israeli ones doesnt have any armour, not even doors or a roof, being an open top vehicle that can be knocked out even by a hand granade.

Similar suggested post but for US (with the armour): M1167 hmmwv

Humvee LAHAT (not suggested)

IAI modification for the humvee with 4- 8 LAHAT laser guided atgms and a very high camera for the gunner sight, which let the vehicle fire behind cover.

image

image

Humvee SPIKE with possible Greek flag (not suggested)

Humvee with 4 ready to shoot SPIKE NLOS and a Rafael Toplite, remote control and radio command line equipment. Theres also Peruvian and Chilean humvees with SPIKEs (only 1 ready to fire) but without the toplite, which means the gunner its exposed when firing. Greece version has only 2 ready to fire SPIKE LR remote controlled

Willys M38A1C Jeep M40 106mm recoiless rifle (not suggested)

Willys jeeps with M40 106 recoiless rifles able to shoot HEAT rounds with 400mm+ pennetration. Same as the US ones.

Similar suggestion for US: Willys M38A1C Jeep w/ M40 106-mm Recoilless Rifle

Willys M38A1C Jeep TOW (not suggested)

Willys jeep that replaced the 106mm recoiless rifle with a TOW launcher.

OSHKOSH JLTV SPIKE (not suggested)

US made OSHKOSH JLTV fitted with spike launchers. Important note: I couldnt find JLTV with heavy weapons on Israel service (all the ones that israel has its only for transport and .50 cal at most), the rest are Rafael modifications for others countries.

Aircrafts:

M-346 with also Greek flag (not suggested at least for both of these nations)

The M-346 Master is a two-seater, advanced military training aircraft and also light attack, with twin-engine propulsion and high maneuverability. On May 11, 2023, the Hellenic Air Force received its first two Leonardo M-346B Master Advanced Jet Trainers at Kalamata Air Base, this comes from an agreement between Greece and Israel to create a combined international training school and so Elbit provided 10 M-346 to Greece.
Israel “Lavi” version has LITENING 5 pod, Lyzard 2 laser guided bombs, Lyzard 4 laser guided and GPS bomb. Greece has Aim-9L sidewinders and IRIS-T air to air missiles, rockets pods, 12.7mm gun pod, JDAMS bombs and PIVEWAY bombs.

For ground vehicles I can think of:

  • Eitan apc with RCWS-30.
  • Achzarit with RCWS-30.
  • Pereh missile carrier.
  • Rest of Sabra family.
  • More from the Tiran family.
  • Sho’t Meteor (preferably folded with the Shot Kal Alef).

We still missing the Tiran 5 and Tiran 5Sh, and no current suggestion in the forum, gonna add it later thx.

And the rest have been already passed to devs so we just have too wait. But damn they take their time.

I am curious, has Israel ever equipped Humvees with missiles?

Yes, they used or still using humvees with TOWs ans SPIKEs NLOS. Also other countries use the spike humvee as Chile and US, and if you dont like the humvee you also have the sandcat platform. (Peru has the ER version)

The LAVI has been already passed to devs in 2023.
It should have come along with the J-10. But Gaijin giving us 1 vehicle per update if we are lucky.
