It has a 105mm with dm 33, moving it up would get it absolutely destroyed, it is not op, its good, but not op.
You definitely have never used or faced the 2s38 if you say this, 50 calls cannot pen the front or even the sides for that matter.

I agree with this, it’s literally a beast with its battle rating. It should be moved up to like (BR 11.0) or (BR 11.7) or something like that to be honest. BR 11.0 should be at its least battle rating though.

It definitely isn’t four BR steps better than 9040C or at the same level as HSTV-L.
i think 10.7 or 11.0 would be its perfect spot balance wise but gaijin wants to keep milking this cow so its staying too low down for the games own good

Imho 11.3 or AT MAX 11.7 would be somewhere reasonable to place it. Uptiered the 2S38 some games to 11.7. Didn’t change much, just some more shooting at weakspots. And my survivability didn’t really drop at all.
The only difference is that I no longer got crazy downtieres to 9.3, where I absolutely demolish the enemy team.

sure I never used it lol, and yes 50 cal does destroy it. The bmp2 is a better vehicle anyway and I dont see anybody crying about it.

The BMP 2 with its firing on the move missiles is a better vehicle yes, but spamcanons like the 2s38 are inherently more annoying because they hit you more than a one shot missile
The bmp-2m is inherently worse with worse mobility and armor as well as a worse gun and the missiles don’t make much of a difference.
