After non stop shooting the american M2HB over heats after only shooting only 4 boxes ammo out of the 10 it has.
But the Russian NSVT only has 3 boxes of ammo so it cant over heat

Ribbed barrels vs non ribbed. M2 doesn’t add anything to reduce heat.
The DsHk has ribbing down the barrel to reduce heat.

Fluted goes lengthwise down the barrel, and is cuts out of the barrel to reduce weight. (It may somewhat reduce heat, but not as effectively as other options).
Ribbing is like discs staged 0.25 inches from one another down the barrel
Edit: it’s called a Finned barrel. I looked it up. ^
