At least I admit when I’m wrong ;) (about the radar system) although you didn’t describe how it works on that Radar very well. nor did you dare mention the fact, you are likely to have whatever is locked flare, before your R-73 lands because people often toss a flare or two to ensure they aren’t killed.
Secondly, does that even work in the other radar mode? I don’t use the big annoying square.

That indicator is not the same as the rectangle one, and I use the other radar. nor did I even know that worked for R-73s but thank you for the info.

Actually it would be 12.7 minimum and thats assuming gaijin gives it the benefit of the doubt by downtiering it below what is currently the floor for active radar missiles…(that aren’t the aim-54) Fox3s do not belong at 12.3 and below, period, full stop.
You also forget it’s a subsonic platform that HAS to carry a radar to use the R-27Rs or R-77s. And all that weight makes it dog fight less and less effectively.
“12.7” minimum when the current 12.7s and 12.3s would still be vastly better even without fox 3s… like what reality are you in?
You do also understand you have to trade Vikhirs for R-27s and R-73s for R-77s?
12.0 with a buff to its weapons would be perfectly balanced imo.
I never said it needed to get both…? I just said it’s lacking them, not that they both needed to be introduced to the airframe. I’d be happy with R-27s.
