iam not calling it a good fighter, becasue it isnt and dosent has to be, it is a strike aircraft
iam saying that even if you force it into being a fighter it is not bad
(also at that time the Su-39 was still 11.7 instead of 11.3)

becasue it is the same on every high tier radar in the game
a radar will not lock onto flares and a PD radar will not lock onto chaff either unless the target is in a notch
you are just trying to make me look bad by pretending not to know simple game mechanics that are esential for playing top tier
Nice, must’ve been a full downtier :)
Your baiting? That’s not cool. Here I thought we could have an actual discussion.
UniqueScorpions-live:Secondly, does that even work in the other radar mode? I don’t use the big annoying square.
it works in TWS as well
UniqueScorpions-live:Thanks for forgetting the “I believe” part, just goes to show how you and many others like to misconstrue others words to make them look like they’ve said things they haven’t.
yeah try being manipultive, just becasue you said “i belive” dosent make the statment right, no matter how much you try to emotionally manipulate to make me look bad
That indicator is not the same as the rectangle one, and I use the other radar. nor did I even know that worked for R-73s but thank you for the info.
I’m not being manipulative, that is literally you. YOU keep changing MY words. Notice how I haven’t changed yours, but you continue to do so to me? That’s very dishonest.
I agree with you in this topic about 99% of the time ,but i will draw the line in calling the su39 a good fighter. The problem is not the R73 though
The problem is it’s lacking its R-27s, and it’s R-77s but I understand it would be 12.0 then.
In sim it’s especially bad trying to see out of the cock pit, I have no Vr / eye tracker like 90% of the sim community.
UniqueScorpions-live:although you didn’t describe how it works on that Radar very well
becasue it is the same on every high tier radar in the game
UniqueScorpions-live:nor did you dare mention the fact, you are likely to have whatever is locked flare, before your R-73 lands because people often toss a flare or two to ensure they aren’t killed

Or i didn’t know that mechanic was on the radar…? Yes I don’t know one of many systems. How does that make you look bad? I’m confused af now.
The problem is it’s lacking its R-27s, and it’s R-77s but I understand it would be 12.0 then.
Actually it would be 12.7 minimum and thats assuming gaijin gives it the benefit of the doubt by downtiering it below what is currently the floor for active radar missiles…(that aren’t the aim-54) Fox3s do not belong at 12.3 and below, period, full stop.

yeah keep playing inocent
At least I admit when I’m wrong ;)
“well atleast iam honest” (you are not, you literally called the IRCCM on the missile bad even tho that is not your issue)
nor did you dare mention the fact, you are likely to have whatever is locked flare, before your R-73 lands because people often toss a flare or two to ensure they aren’t killed.
“well you didnt mention how fundamental game mechanics work”
Thanks for forgetting the “I believe” part, just goes to show how you and many others like to misconstrue others words to make them look like they’ve said things they haven’t.
“you didnt show the part that showed i was slightly unsure which didnt change the statment at all, you are misrepresenting what i said”

Well, R-27s aren’t fox 3s.
You also forget it’s a subsonic platform that HAS to carry a radar to use the R-27Rs or R-77s. And all that weight makes it dog fight less and less effectively.
“12.7” minimum when the current 12.7s and 12.3s would still be vastly better even without fox 3s… like what reality are you in?
You do also understand you have to trade Vikhirs for R-27s and R-73s for R-77s?
12.0 with a buff to its weapons would be perfectly balanced imo.
Well, R-27s aren’t fox 3s.
the r-77 is
The problem is it’s lacking its R-27s, and it’s R-77s
but yeah we are misrepresenting what was said

yeah keep playing inocent
I GENUINELY DONT FK KNOW DUDE JESUS. Now you are making yourself look terrible.
WHAT ON THIS RADAR, SHOWS THE DISTANCE THE R-73 will travel???
UniqueScorpions-live:Well, R-27s aren’t fox 3s.
the r-77 is
UniqueScorpions-live:The problem is it’s lacking its R-27s, and it’s R-77s
but yeah we are misrepresenting what was said
I never said it needed to get both…? I just said it’s lacking them, not that they both needed to be introduced to the airframe. I’d be happy with R-27s.
UniqueScorpions-live:At least I admit when I’m wrong ;)
“well atleast iam honest” (you are not, you literally called the IRCCM on the missile bad even tho that is not your issue)
If the bracket was up to 12.3 in sim right now, I’d take a clip and send it.
WHAT ON THIS RADAR, SHOWS THE DISTANCE THE R-73 will travel???
maybe you should watch a youtube tutorial if you dont know how your radar screen works
I don’t like watching YouTube, it’s like getting the keys handed to you. I like to learn it myself.
Also what is NEZ?
Thank you for the info tho
NEZ = No Escape Zone
the area where the target is highly unlikely to kinematically defeat your missile
it’s like getting the keys handed to you
and what am i doing right now?
You’re explaining one part. A YouTube video will likely go through absolutely everything.

becasue it is necessary to play effectively at high tiers

The good answer region ^

You just are doing this to yourself man. I’m trying to be as respectful as possible.
But no I don’t want the whole game described to me. Hint here and there is very helpful though. Yah know?

Someone told me that was an enemy, they saw they should “turret wiggle” in grb, because they saw it in a YouTube video… yup…

watching a radar tutorial so you know what you are looking at and understand how that thing works is something entirely different
there are hour long videos explaining how you radar works, what the modes are and what the difference between them is and not “do this with you radar to win every match”
