This. I can see R-27Rs being added and it only going to 11.7/12.0, but I really don’t think ERs will make it anything below 12.3.
I also don’t know many R-77s and R-27s could it carry, because that could change the BR too.

See I found this out when debating the A-10C (4 Aim-9ms btw) vs the Su-39 and a harrier at the time that also had 9ms.
And it was found the slower the platform the worse it is. The Su-39 is the 2nd slowest platform at top tier.
The radar adds weight, so yes it matters.

It can only carry 2. They take over the R-73 slot.
So If you were fully loaded you could take:
2 R-27s
2 R-77s or R-73s
2 R-60Ms.
for Fox-3s the ammount dosent really matter, but it can carry atleast 4x r-77

You literally need to add more weight to carry more weapons. Even with the weapons dispensed they still add weight no?
Also, you could use Vikhirs semi reliably to head on people, but that trick gets old fast and they catch on.
The A-10C got all its weapons, I don’t see why the Su-39 cannot.
And why did I say all fox 3 12.7s can go to 13.7? Because they’re all super sonic?

Do you think, just maybe, that I was not disagreeing that it could be buffed, but rather the disagreement came from the METHOD in which you chose to buff it? In that, you wanted the plane to have literal R-77s at 12.0 or even I believe you said 11.7?
