Why no Su27S flanker at 13.0 yet?

I do know how to use it lmao.
Why is that your argument? You don’t deny that they are crap, instead you try attack me. Shows me you clearly love losing debates

It works better on airframes like the Su-27, but the things like the Su-39 they are pretty much useless.

funny really funny

who started attacking others first?
let me remind you:

just because you are passive agressive dosent make it less of an attack

but good to know that you lost the argument

You claimed you couldn’t understand, I just reinforced the fact lol.

But please do continue your attempts to brush off the fact R-73s suck.

yeah lets complain about the IRCCM after firing it side aspect

the IRCCM that needs to directly see the engine to properly work

the same IRCCM that becomes less effectice at range because of how seeker FOV works, you complain about not working at longer ranges

I know you aren’t trying to call me dense when you can’t use your brain to figure out that what you said looks like:

“I have sat with the seeker, head on, for 10-15 secs and fired”

You clearly don’t have that.

That “Slightly side aspect shot”

IMG_1063

“Slightly” “side” “aspect” read it slower. You somehow aren’t understanding, or deliberately not understanding.

Nor is 1.0 miles distance that far for an R-73, most of them I launch under 0.75 miles distance because of how unreliable they are.

What happens when you click the fire button on an aam hmm?

Does it turn on? Yes or no?

What is the seeker called? The head?

Hmm. Odd

And yet, you didnt record it, and ALSO you’re trying to use this to say the seeker head does not constrict fov pre launch? when it wouldnt f* matter either way because in your “Example” you say the target DID NOT FLARE anyway? so CLEARLY this isnt relative to seeker fov? for gods sake

or you could use proper terminolgy like 5 o’clock

but yeah we are the issue

I Really want you to try to flare my r73s later. I REALLY want to see you try to put these words into practice when I r73 you from 1km in a custom

On both non flaring and flaring targets it misses, if it cannot hit a target that IS NOT FLARING, HOW WOULD YOU EXPECT IT TO HIT A FLARING TARGET??

The only thing that sucks here is your personal skill…

Betttt

then you dont know when to launch the missile, also known as a skill issue

Is 5 o’clock proper terminology, where is that written? And where is it written I have to use the same terminology as you?

Should I be shaking his hand when I launch the missile? Under 0.75 miles is quite close as is.

sure thing slightly rear aspect dosent describe anything

what is slight?

5° of center or 50° maybe even 60°

sure lets launch the close range dogfighting missile rear aspect at a fast target, you just show that you dont know how to use the missile
0.75 miles = 1.2km

if you dont know how and when to use your missiles there is symbology on your radar showing max range and the no escape zone

Not on a Su-39 I believe. I do know how to use the R-73s lmao just because you continue to say that, doesn’t make it true.

A 1.2 km or less shot is not that far. For a non flaring, non aware target.

I’ve fired less than .8 km at a non flaring target, but 1 flare pop and bye bye R-73. All after it was half way to target.

I’ll get out my protractor next time and tell the enemy to stop so I can get the exact angle 📐 for you.

so you launch an r-73 rear aspect on a sub sonic platform from further than a kilometer away
and then you wonder why it dosent hit?
and you are saying you know how to use the missile?

yeah no, jokes on you

i might as well complain about the 9M not having any range when launched from the AH-1Z

wrong
