Why no Su27S flanker at 13.0 yet?

“short and LONG range missiles”

Last I chechecked, 96 large calibre CMs is pretty good.

What 12.7 has aim-9ms? And all 9M carriers at those BRs to have tradeoffs too.

Once again, why is compression a better option than decompression and adding a new BR bracket? What makes the Su-27s equal to something like a Mig-29G?

Because that’s not realistic. What is realistic is moving 3 planes down

Because the 29G is on precipice of being a 12.7 plane? Especially in sim environment.

Last guy that glazed 29G in sim got slammed in spite of saying he’d win every time or some nonsense. And Ron is not particularly good at dogfighting.

We all know we not getting a 13.3 bracket, it’s much easier and realistic for gaijin to move 2 planes down than to make a whole new bracket

I was promised 2 hours of mogging and I did get none of that

I was dueling a guy in the su 33 with mig 29g (context: I am a mid at best duekist in sim, a worse than ron. The guy I dueled litereally played like 5ec match at max in his life and had no clue how to duel.) I explanied him what 2c and 1c is was able to shoot me down mutiple times even with his below avarage dueling skills. This says a lot about the fm of the mig 29, best mig 29 spaded vs worst flanker stock. The mig 29 should be 12.3. J7e, f5e etc. Can beat it with ease. The only things are 27er and hms but hms is useless for r60s.

A one circle a 2 circle my wife left me circle

96 isn’t good vs superior aams which usually hit even if you notch, and chaff.

Aim 9ms rarely care about your flares, and if they do, your dumping 8-14 to defeat one Aim-9m

“Trade offs” being speed is irrelevant.

Adding a new br bracket would cause far more problems than it would simple solve.

(Off topic but)

Given the fact the event vehicle (F-106A) is 9.3, with pretty good aams, and an decent radar, I think the brs I said would be pretty decent, given this seems to be a counter part

That was not my experience when flying the Su-33. It was comfortable enough with a limited flare and chaff load. The best defense was just killing anything that dared point their nose at me long enough to launch a missile. Even in the missile saturated mess that is RB air. But I had no problem keeping AIM-9M, MICA and Magic II off me when everyone came close to furball.

I expect it to be more difficult to deal with AIM-9M in SB due to the low smoke motor and forced cockpit view, but if you detect the missile there’s no issue with the CM load when decoying or defending.

After closer looks, the AIM-4’s are equal to or worse than AIM-9B’s. And the radar is hard countered by ground clutter

Every ARH missile except the Mica and Aim-54s have the same seeker, and they are all just as easy to chaff. If anything the R-77 is harder to chaff than the Aim-120s because of it’s higher G overload.

It depends on how you dodge. I’ve had both 9Ms and other IRs ignore flares, but I’ve also had all of them 1 flared before. Flaring while changing direction is the best way to doge 9Ms.

Objectively incorrect.

The big difference is that your experience in Su-33 in RB will be roughly even split of uptiers and downtiers. You get to fight mixture of 12.0 to 14.0 aircraft and will only ever face maximum of 4 14.0 aircraft.

There is no downtier bracket for the Su-33 in sim. It will always fight in lobbies that are in 14.0 BR range. It’s the only plane in the bracket that relies purely on SARH for radar missiles; every other SARH carrier is a lower BR and gets a bracket where it’s good.

I don’t think it’s the g load of the missile that makes it harder to notch but the actual speed of the missile

Finally, flankers will be actually enjoyable now.
Only took them an entire year.

Yep. Actually cool and interesting changes this time.

So, they are never going to add a 13.3 bracket?

we are talking about gaijin there was a legitemate chance that it wouldnt happen

I highly doubt it’s useless with 60m multipathing. Fox 3s definitely aren’t, maybe Fox 1 are worse, because you have to keep the lock and the multipathing guy can get you. I play mostly top tier, so I’m not sure, but I still highly doubt that R-27ER wouldn’t put you in a much better position.

I also manage to play Denmark only when I want to (equally often as other maps or less), despite how popular it is. Every other map isn’t flat enough for you to disregard radar missiles in any capacity.
