Why is the F-16 ADF 13.0?

Which is better in absolute everything except the two R-27ER1 the Mig has, which are crippled by the shitty radar of the Mig.

The ADF would be too strong for 12.7.
I see, that it is not the top dog in 13.0, but it belongs more into 13.0 than in 12.7.

  1. F-16 ADF (US/IT) should get AIM-9M/AIM-9L/I (respectively) considering that the Belgian one gets 9M at the same BR
  2. MiG-29 and Yak are the two most silliest vehicles in the game. One is a 1990’s aircraft with 60’s missiles. Other is a fake vehicle that should not have and didn’t need to be added to the game. MiG-29 should have R-27ER’s removed and put at 12.3 or something. Yak should just be 13.0 considering it has 2 ER’s and 2T’s. (Or they give it R-73 [13.3] or R-77 [13.7]
  3. Fr*nce is just a sad nation. Held back by shitty radar missiles, pushed forward because of IRCCM heat seekers. If there was a midpoint between the Magic 1 and 2 they would have some aircraft that were between 11.7 and 13.3. I can see why the M2K is 12.3. Will be smoked by anything in a BVR fight but will clap in heatseeker range. Also the fact that it has 4 missiles holds it back.
  4. Yeah the JA37D being 12.0 seems fair. Maybe it could go up to 12.3 but no higher. It’s held back by having 2 Skyflashes but they’re good missiles. I was thinking they could give the JA37C RB74’s and give the 37D RB99’s.

But we need another decompression session. Move it up to 14.3 and ground up as well. Maybe naval might be more enjoyable as well.

Well then whatever. F-16A-15 is added to the USA and given 9M then or something.

“Mememememememememe. You haven’t played this thing therefore you’re wrong” Both aircraft have HMS’ therefore you automatically are at an advantage in close range engagements. Both aircraft have good radar and RWR’s.

And the RWR in the Yak-141 and Mig-29 are bad too !!!

Its a good radar since it has all aspect PD so it can hold a lock reliably like the F-16. Only downside is that the vertical and horizontal limits in search mode is limited.

On paper … it has TWS also, so on paper it’s better than the F-16.

But it doesn’t work, in reality the F-16A is MUCH MUCH MUCH better …

The Mig29 has an Ali Express radar XD

The all aspect PD works reliably this is based on experience. I have the MiG-29 and the Su-27. There’s even a PD HDN mode if you want to lock targets farther away.

I see you don’t fly them in SB …

In SB we don’t have labels, and with the Mig29 a lot of times you get people closer than 10KM that your radar should tell you and didn’t.

You play RB, and you only need the radar for radar misiles, in SB it’s vital for situational awaraness.

Anyone that has played Mig29 in SB knows the radar is total crap.

Ah. Well I guess the lack of a good TWS will do that. But in RB even without labels I can find targets quite well. I even use it for launching R-27ERs as far as 70km.

Yes, sometimes you can do that, in SB too, but it’s not reliable … Ali Express radar.

Sometimes, you don’t see a thread comming headon towards you at 20km, and you see something at 70km. That’s death !!!

The normal PD mode of the F-16 radar gives you reliable information, it doesn’t kill you.

The only time I have been able to fly F-16A in a match that wasn’t too unbalance towards Team A, Mig-29s were easy meat for the Falcon. BTW, I had only 2 AIM 9Ls, almost stock.

That’s another one, with the Mig29 you are allways outnumbered

I partially agree.

  1. F-16A ADF should get AIM-9M
  2. MiG-29 should get R-73s, have R-27ER/ETs removed, have it’s R-27R/Ts buffed (they miss a sustainer entirely and have too high drag, irl R-27’s special trait was low drag) and have it’s flight model fixed if it’s broken. Then the MiG-29 can be a 13.0. I have no clue about Yak-141.

Currently German MiG-29G with R-73s and R-27ERs sits at 13.0 and makes the F-16A ADF look like a joke.

Even an F-16A is aware of all the Mig29 that are close thanks to it’s RWR, Mig29G are quite clueles, F-16A can easily stealth kill a Mig29G

MiG-29G has TWS, 90 degrees gimble limit HMS, a 40G thrust vectoring IR missile with IRCCM, and THE best SARH missile in the game.

F-16A ADF has a better flight model and RWR…

You should bu the Ali Express PS5, and see what you get, impresive spec sheet, but doesn’t work !!!

Play the Mig-29G and discover how crapy is the radar !!!

HMS and R-73 are good, but F-16 FM is much supperior.

Overal F-16A is better than Mig29 and Mig-29G …

Why is everyone playing USA if Mig29 are OP !!! Nobody is playing Mig29 because it’s crap, and all matches in SB are outnumbered against Mig29

Yak-141 is just one of those aircraft that wasn’t needed and still isn’t really. Either they remove the R-27E’s and move it down to 12.0 or they give it R-77 and R-73 and move it up to 13.7. it’s got a lot of good things going for it and right now it shouldn’t be lower than an F-16.
