I have been grinding 12.0 abrams tanks for the past three weeks or so and i fight BVMs 90% of the time.

Not surprising, theres a metric ton of russian top tier players as always and an insane amount of US 12.0 players atm.
In this way it is more limited than the US lineup, which has a tool for every occasion, unlike the German 6.7 lineup. That’s why Germany has the second best 6.7 lineup.
That said, LekPz and JPz 4-5 provide you with good mobility options to make that lineup more versatile.

Sure they would. Plenty of people are uninterested in WW2 vehicles as a concept and just like the modern stuff, for example.
You were talking about WW2 BRs and 7.7 would not be one where I consider Germany to be near the top. Many other nations have better 7.7 lineups, even if I do so love the Maus. In fact the gap between 6.7 and arguably 8.0 is imho the true genuine problem of the German TT.
German 9.3 and 9.7 are also bangers.
Do you know what quantitative MM is?
Especially if you’re getting uptiered from 6.7 into 7.7 you have basically nothing to fear. Tiger IIs are still competitive when playing a 7.0 - 8.0 match, done it many times. This area is so uncompressed that you get some of the easiest uptiers in the whole game. A full uptier from 2.3 to 3.3 or from 8.3 to 9.3 is much scarier.
But that isnt a surprise as 12.7 is the cutoff of groundforces.
And yes i know that u can get even higher with planes but not everyone has planes at that br so there will be a oversaturation at 12.7 .
Which is hella weird, why not go 13.0 and higher? Some of the vehicles basically all warrant a higher BR, like the Pantsir SM-SV or “TADS” systems which I forget half the names of… IRIS-T SLM I think is one of them?

I like going into the middle or the middle of a flank where I have targets that just present themselves to me. Its why I have a 2.0 K/D in my Tiger II SLA.16 lol
Honestly sitting back and sniping is not how you play it. Tank wants to be semi-aggressive.
Nah the Tiger 2s are long range power houses. Yes you can brawl with them but you’re at a disadvantage compared to vehicles which are made for brawling (stabilisers/manoeuvrability).
Between the long 88 and the great armour model there isn’t much that contends with the tiger 2 at range.

Stabilisers are incredibly rare at this BR range. Most of the time in the Tiger IIs you should be brawling. Sure, they’re great at sniping, problem is that sniping won’t win you matches, especially when your German team mates will usually refuse to push any objective. Instead you gotta get in there, sidescrape, and use your reload. You can absolutely be a formidable brawler in it.
Exactly. I think I can say that I know what I’m talking about:
61% win rate over 3500 battles was not obtained by sitting back and sniping. And it didn’t hurt the K/D either.

Not really. Most of the US tanks around that BR have a short stop stabiliser. German tanks do not do as well in brawling as most russian/US tanks. They’re too big and too slow. I’d take a 76 jumbo over a tiger 2 in a knife fight any day.
Sidescraping only works against people who don’t know what they’re doing.

I said they were the earliest, never said they were any good. The Su17 laser guided weapons are pretty terrible anyone would agree. 9.7 is the first time they get good unguided munitions.

The Jumbo 76 and the Sherman 76, sure, if you’re playing correctly neither is gonna be a threat to you in a Serienturm Tiger II.
T26E5, T34, T29 etc all lack a stabiliser, same as you.
The only things you’ll really meet in an uptier that have a stab are the Centurions, which you should always take very seriously as a threat.

Like, I want you to understand, this isn’t a words-based argument, I am backing up what I’m saying with what I’ve actually carried out in the game. The Tiger II is capable of getting these results (and I’m sure it’s capable of more in the hands of better players than I). Numbers may sometimes be misleading but at the end of the day you’re not gonna do so well in the current small map meta over thousands of matches if the tank is really bad in CQC. It ain’t.
This is a PVP game. The quality of your opposition will always determine how many of your counters are successful, just like your quality will determine how many of their counters are successful.

You also have zero experience in the russian/US tanks at the same BR. You have nothing to compare your experience in the tiger 2 against for that situation when you’ve never even played the other tanks I’m referring to in the same situation.

Unless you shoot his gun first as a rat,then you aint living to shoot at all.
This I can garantee isnt the fault of the german tech tree. At al the BRs where theres a lineup, theres a BR defining vehicle.
For ground, post 6.7 falling off a cliff i believe is from low tier having a totally different vehicle design doctrine, favouring armour and overpowered guns for the respective BR. Jumping from that to the leo 1 which is barely 20mm proof frontally is going to be rather extreme whiplash for a new player (which is a humongous chunk of the German player base)
for air, well its a mix of western and eastern style aircraft from 8.3 on really. Tonkas suck but the ME-262s are a far worse reputation than they deserve in game, they are far far better than they perform with the slop players they get
