Why does Germany's win rate fall off a cliff after 7.7? A look from someone who actually plays Germany

Me when the topic about germany devolves into several apes screaming at eachother about stats.

Goodwin’s law but for the WT forum.

I shall call it Fichtner’s law in honour of his work overseeing the design of Panzer 3 and 4

Welcome to the forums I guess, everyone’s toxic here and everyone wants to defend the billion dollar company and make ad hominem attacks on one’s personal skill rather instead of engaging with points under the guise of “you don’t know what you’re talking about” when if they spent the same amount of time in a similar situation I bet they’d be saying the same thing as I did up top.

i rarely brawl unless i have to, i always try to snipe because the king tiger is more defensive than offensive as codmineman said, its not a heavy pusher like USA or USSR heavy tanks

Ok mate. Honest question. You have negative WR and K/D in the Tiger II. I have a 61% WR and a K/D above 3 in the Tiger II Sla. Which one of us do you think is giving the best advice? Because to me, it seems like you’ve literally just proven my point.

Also. Notice how not a single one of these guys ever actually refutes the data presented. They can’t. The win rates are in the gutter. USSR/USA is objectively better than everything else at the same BR right now. They can’t argue with the facts, so they attack the person presenting them. That’s the hallmark of a person who doesn’t want their favorite game criticized, even when it’s broken.

Are you implying i dont criticize gaijin or warthunder?

What’s being disputed is the cause of the phenomenon. Which is largely a literal skill issue with rookie players (and to a degree this is completely normal, although better tutorialisation would help).

In a skill-based game, there is a strong correlation between skill and understanding of game mechanics.

Bro you came in here with an OP that was at least partially written by ChatGPT. What hallmark is that?

When has personal skill mattered in this game? You have objectives, this isn’t “team deathmatch” this is “control points” game, because there isn’t a deathmatch mode. Also it’s hard to matter in a 16V16 battle. If someone takes a Swedish Leopard SPAA and kills half the enemy team and launches a nuke is that “skill” do you think? Or is that person just a lucky speedrunner? To me it’s the latter.

You can believe what you want to believe.

Yes that’s exactly what I’m saying having this be my second interaction with you on the forums.

Sure. And each team is competing for the same objectives. In a competitive PVP set up, a combination of skill, experience, teamwork and luck will determine which one of the two teams prevails. How is this even controversial?

So can you, as evidenced by this thread.

lmao

Gonna reply to the original point , since apparently now everyone is concerned with how many procents statshark says they have in a certain mode.

At least Air-wise, the issue around 7.7 stems from their early jets.
By default, the transition to early jets is rough.
Most players get caught in the trap of not leading enough, since the new speeds at which battles take place require more leading.

Most nations dont really have an issue with this, but germany is special.
30mm MK108 - Potato launcher.

In the case of the ME262 , it worked wonders. It didn’t require a lot of velocity , since B17s are slow.
In WarThunder , you fight other early jets. The velocity on these guns force you to lead more by default. Combine that with the high speeds of early jets, and its bad.

Most of the german TT up to 7.0 has the mg151 as the main weapon. Speedy bullet, decent damage.

Now you are given a motor-potato launcher , strapped to a high sub-sonic platform and yeah.
Frustration sets in.

Which one? There’s like, at least 5 xD
If you mean the Pulkzestorer with the 50mm cannon then yeah it is a one hit wonder, if you manage to hit lmao

OP is making duplicate post about premium german tornado and trying to “hide” it by talking about ground first, which is apparent by second half of his post being almost the same in terms of arguments about viability of premium Tornado.

I mean, he isn’t wrong. The premium Tornado is a pretty effective noob-trap.
It has exactly one playstyle , and it doesn’t even excel at that.

Bro you paid money for a plane is it supposed to be utter shit? Interesting point for someone who bought the premium Phantom II and is enjoying himself. What’s next, AMRAAMs at 11.0 for US of A?

Money should never be a factor in how a good a vehicle is, even though it tends to be the case more often than not.

Oh i agree. But i dont see point in his arguments.

“Premium tornado isnt good in ARB and it needs better A2G ordnance” doesnt make sense when the A2G ordnance he asks for doesnt do anything for ARB and he claims he doesnt care about GRB.

Hey uhhhh fyi , money ≠ good.

Should have done some research into the plane if you bought it thinking you’ll be the next Maverick.

Not really the first premium to deprecate into obscurity either.
