Why do CAS players so vocally oppose any suggestions

I’d welcome if players played AAA for convoys in sim EC. You’d actually be able to evade their shots!

That’s why it was released as combined arms game. Lmao. Surely.

You can continue coping till you die from it if it suits you. You’ll never get what you want, nor does your crowd deserve it. Learn to use SPAA or even CAP, or keep seething as I CAS you at my leisure, or kill you in a tank or even a SPAA if it can do it.

People like you are terrible at the game and easy to kill, after all.

Cute flag.

Now, on actual arguments:

  1. Spawn in on cargo port at 24:45ish
  2. Drive a short flank towards B in a tiger E
  3. Hear propeller sounds
  4. Look up. It’s a corsair. Open scoreboard, it’s 22:45 into the match.
  5. Hear bomb whistle. Die.

That’s my other issue with CAS. An argument is made that it’s to prevent camping, but you literally have a corsair in the air barely 3 minutes into the match ready to drop its bombs.

Which is in my opinion a very telling evidence that the aircraft spawn too close and that the SP cost of spawning one is too low.

Thus reiterating:

  1. Airfields far enough away for the BR bracket to require 3 minutes per rearm to drop a bomb again. Also first spawn should be on airfield as it’s RB and in RB you take off from airfields.
  2. SP costs so you don’t have the skies turn into jugs, corsairs and mustangs 5 minutes into the match
  3. Better SPAA line-ups
  4. Allow progressing ground research while flying CAP.

That’s literally all you’re doing, just repeating some made up false dogma without any real argumentation. 🤷‍♂️

I really do enjoy your hypocrisy. :PP

Explains how and why.

Just make artillery more potent for pure tank battles. Problem solved. It could prevent from camping far more effectively than CAS.

No need for that.

Well, I too think his argumentation with camping is little bit silly. But I just wanted to prove him that CAS is definitely not some irreplaceable solution for camping, lol.

Look at his in-game profile and it will tell You the whole story

… Sometimes I am seriously concerned about people’s ability to take in a whole post’s context and comprehend it without big flashing letters.

“An argument is made.” Therefore - not my argument, it’s an argument made by people previously in this thread. It is argued that CAS, as it is, is only a problem if you camp.

Therefore, as you can infer from the very plain in-your-face context of the rest of my post, I am writing to refute with the observation that you can have a bomb dropped onto you while you’re still moving into position a mere 2 minutes into the match - nowhere enough time to start camping with slower vehicles.

This observation had been caught by ULQ, and they linked their post where they did just what I experienced: A corsair showing up a mere 2-3 minutes into the match attacking vehicles still moving into position (C&F tactic)

But I suppose reading comprehension and context-inference is an art lost to ages past.

I shall elaborate further to reduce the reading skill requirement:

Argument made: CAS counters camping. You only die to CAS if you are camping.

Reality:

Bombs dropped on enemy team at 22:30 or so while they’re still moving towards A or B.

Is there anything else I could use to make it clearer for you?

Yeah, sorry that I am need to camp at objectives by design to cap it.

In fact, majority of my deads by CAS are either on objective when capping or few moments after I just freshly respawned. 🤷‍♂️

What a great improvement for gaming experience.

Have you read my post, have you actually processed what was said or did you merely see a few words and react to them without actually considering the context the words were made in?

Have you never in your life encountered someone who cited a statement made by someone else as a way to begin their own statement?

Why are you arguing with me when I am literally posting that CAS does not only kill those who camp, but those who are still moving into position at the start of the match?

What?

I reacted to what I have just quoted, that’s all. I could not care less who came up with this kind of argumentation. It’s not important to me in any way.

You literally said “i want to prove to [her].”

Not in my last reply, to which you responded again in similar manner.

As I have said, I don’t care who came up with this argumentation. It’s fundamentally false. That’s what actually matters in context of this discussion.

But I do apologize. (If that’s what you wanted to hear.)

Yes, you can still get CAS’d while driving - And bigger vehicles are easier to spot potential targets - However primarily CAS targets sitting tanks as those are the easiest targets to go after. Such has been established as a fact for years through countless player’s repeated behavior.

However, the more time you spend moving diminishes the chances of getting CAS’d compared to where if you sit still, the chances increase. It boils down to simple math and cause and effect, at the end of the day.

I do this, I refuse to engage with its overpowered BS. I only got up to that rank with time and money so I could spawn them for CAP only. Way more fun for me.

Lol.

Easiest targets to hit, but not to spot. A moving tank is far easier to notice, whereas staying still if you have some buildings/trees to break your sillouette means that you’ll often go unnoticed unless they already knew exactly where you were and are just beelining for you.
