Well for the mirage 3 it’s more to introduce a better progression through the br system and also make a balanced contender to the early mig 21s.

Magic 2s in front aspect are not guaranteed kills. I’ve done head ones with them before, I could be 0.6km away, and they’ll still go after flares. Rear aspect is a different story, as long as I’m within 3km, it’s always a guaranteed elim.
You know, the Mirage F1C at one point did not have Magic 2s. Guess what? It was considered the worst premium, and a complete waste of money. The Matra radars are piss poor, considering the fact that they can be chaffed off by a bubblegum wrapper, and the Magic 1s were undesirable at a time when all aspects were king (yes, the R-60Ms at one point did not suck).
Also, it is now 12.0, it’s not going to fare well with the worst radar missiles at the BR (those radar missiles are only good at 10.3 because no one has the ability to counter them), as well as substandard rear aspects when you have MiG 23s with R-24s, F/A-18s with AIM 7Ps and Ms, F-16s with AIM 7s and AIM 9Ls, MiG 29s with R-27ERS and ETs. There is no way that plane will be competitive. The only competition they will have is: who will be the first one to quit in a complete uptier.
I used 530F extensively lately, and while you present some cool “tricks”, the 530F is still one of the worst radar missiles for the BRs it shows up at lol

They do need them, and no they don’t avoid most missiles. It takes a lot of skill to fly these and do well.
Magic II is not stong at all is flerable with 1 flare seems to me IRCCM not working at all + is not 50G like irl many reports have been send already and current BR for F-1-200 it’s a joke overall 12 BR meaning you will play vs 13 all the time and Radar missile slingers start at 12 so you can’t even bomb because Mig 23 ML will go first and bomb bases with napalm atm French missile are joke except MICA seems to me many of you not have Clue about current situation of French Jets.
I’m going to talk over this guy and say the magic 2 is perfectly fine and incredibly strong when used correctly. It’s also far more agile than the magic 1 leading me to believe the agility is also fine/correct.

So the MIG is somehow under tiered at 8.3? Its not but lets pretend it is and it goes to 8.7. Now it fights 20G missiles with no flares. Along with MIG 19/ 21
So now to balance the other flareless migs have to go to 9.7 and now fight J7D and F5s. Not feeling it.

It can do fine, it still takes far more skill to do so than with similar BR jets with flares

If they are faster it is usually not by much at all and its because they trade in pros/cons. They are likely faster but won’t hold energy as well or turn as well etc.
There are also just a shit ton of 8.7 that don’t fit what you say… G.91, Mystere IV, J29, etc
