not particularly relevant? i won a dogfight against a F-4E Phantom II cuz the Phantom is heavier than the Flogger, and in rank 7, dogfighting stills being something normal.
you get forced into the furball because half the team gets on you becaus your teams dead as they just rushed bases

U’re telling me that the F-4 is like a Sea Vixen. When u’re out of missiles u need to return to base and not use ur incredible 20mm gatling gun M61 Vulcan.
yes a skill issue on americas part honestly its mostly premiums at the br that cause this
F4E is my favourite aircraft, it has great maneuverability at low weight, but if you can you should RTB
sadly F4J is stuck with dinner fork gun
honestly arguable wether to bring it or not. aim 7f are very strong at close range so the gun is redundant
meh longrange performance is better honestly if i could equip some dogfight missiles that would be great but you can only carry one or the other
7f is better than E-2s at close range.

no unless gaijined changed them the whole reason these missiles are called DF DOG FIGHT this cause improved accelration with shorter burn time and of rail pull
the E-2 is older than the 7f. and yes it has faster acceleration but it flies straight for a while instead the 7F pulls right off the rails, 7f was meant as an upgrade to vietnam war sparrows.

yeah just tested it on F14A with aim-7E2 and Aim-7E2 the E2 pulled immediatly and the 7F didnt
