If they are faster it is usually not by much at all and its because they trade in pros/cons. They are likely faster but won’t hold energy as well or turn as well etc.
There are also just a shit ton of 8.7 that don’t fit what you say… G.91, Mystere IV, J29, etc

Yes, because it was introduced in the shadow of the MiG-23MLD when it was both overperforming in terms of flight characteristics AND radar performance. And it wasn’t a premium to start with. When it should’ve been introduced at the SAME TIME AS THE F-4E WAS TOP. Where Magic I would’ve been more than capable enough.
You should read the entire post instead of hitting reply on the first thing you disagree with, for all that is good in the world. I shouldn’t need to repeat myself on why I think it’s fairer for the earlier Mirage F1C variants (F1C and F1C-200) to lose Magic II and go down to F-4E BR.
This is a gross misunderstanding of how the Magic II IRCCM functions. When the seeker is locked and the FoV is shrunk, it physically cannot detect flares below a certain range. The aircraft itself is literally too large in the seeker’s field of view to allow flares to function. Even from a front aspect.
There’s too much to unpack here in one reply but I’ll give you these two things. I have used AA.20, Magic I, Magic II, MICA, R511, R530, Super 530F and Super 530D extensively. (That’s every single french AAM in the game) And everyone suffers from 12.0 BR compression up to 13.0 uptiers.

You do realize going down to 11.0 is a massive relative buff for the Mirage F1C? Relative flight performance, avionics and weapon load (aside from Magic II) is perfectly reasonable at 11.0 or 11.3 BR. It’s literally just Magic II that keeps Mirage F1C at 12.0 BR.
Some people just can’t ever fathom change, I guess. God forbid someone suggest a change that will improve the experience for Mirage F1C (and F1C-200) players.

I can fathom change, but Gaijin is the one that can bring us down to 11.7 and keep our Magic 2s. I would rather keep the Magic 2s than wait half a year for the Mirage to be brought down to 11.3 while we only get the worst radar missiles and half decent rear aspects.

That’s literally never going to happen. You either give up the best overall IR AAM in the game and go down in BR or you keep it and stay 12.0 BR. Gaijin understands fully the ramifications of IRCCM missiles with decent flight performance and will not allow that to go below 12.0 BR for now.
A-10C with AIM-9M and Su-25 variants with R-73 are the exclusive exceptions to “no IRCCM AAMs below 12.0 BR”, as they have flight performance deficiencies.
Apparently everyone forgets the R-60Ms exist, or the AIM 9Ls for the F-5s, and the Pythons, and the R23Ts and the R24Ts.

Exceptions for me, not to thee. Also R-60Ms are still all aspect, therefore there are all aspects below 12.0, rendering the argument “no all aspects below 12.0” absolutely useless.
I don’t support their arguments either, I think neither of the proposals is great. Magic 2s shouldn’t be as low as they are the same as All Aspects shouldn’t be as low as they are.
All aspects should be at 11.0 minimum, with a 0.7 BR compressor.

Actually this “que times” is smoke in the player eye’s 24/7 you have from 40 to almost 200k players + the battles are decreasing in time so much that Realistic Air is less than Arcade Air Battle.
