That is incorrect. The current F-15C has the APG-63v1 which replaced the APG-70 on C and D airframes. The F-15C would only have the dual wing pylon amraam rails with the APG-63v3 radar. But only the F-15EX has actually flown with the dual wing pylon, not the Cs. The dual CFT rack was just a fit test.
Thats incorrect. Based on tail number, the F-15 ingame would have left the factory with an APG-70. Only after retrofit would it have had the APG-63v1.
Easy to fix all of that
Make suggestion
“Premium Modules” …4.99 each and they will be implemented faster than you can say “Russian Bias”
yeah i know
This would be very optimistic. It should also get paveways and sniper-XR, but gaijin mistreats both sides of the strait equally, like, where m1a2t etc.
Which tail number? There are multiple skins. ;)
M42 should get its proxy shells, and M163 should get Mk.149 APDS
You mean like the AIM-7E it never carried and lacking the AAM-3/AIM-7M it is most well know for?
It has the AIM-7F/M currently, and it has 9Ls which it used as well.
It currently has AIM-7E/F, while it never used the E. It is missing AIM-7M. And while AIM-9L is a missile it used, it is best known for using the domestically developed AAM-3.
An ADTW EJ Kai could also be added, with both AAM-3 and XAAM-4, as well as some other upgrades over the production version.
Suggestion for it:
Anyways, as long as the 7E is there, EJ Kai loadouts aren’t historical, and the AAM-3 is just too iconic with it to pass out on. It’s like the Sparrowless initial Phantom days all over again. It should be featured on at least one EJ Kai in game.
F/M are currently identical in War Thunder, which is why that’s a non-issue.
That would be better than making the current EJ Kai 13.0 and leaving a void from 11.3 - 13.0.
Is there any reason why F-4EJ (base model, not Kai) and ADTW EJ cannot get AIM-7E-2DF?
Outside Japan never using the missile, not really.
Let me bring up one example, which has been repeated million times already
AIM-9Js on F-4F
Aside from manual stating it (and one picture from training in US), there is no other evidence of F-4F every carrying AIM-9J in Germany.
If F-4EJ and F-4EJ ADTW are technically capable of firing 7E-2DF, why not give those missiles to those jets?
Well, better the F-4F have 9Js than only 9Bs.
Makes it one of the most unique F-4s with flares rather than just a Kurnass 2000 equivalent if it got 9Ls.
You missed the point…
I was providing 9Js on F-4F as an example to your quote
Outside Japan never using the missile, not really.
That argument doesn’t really hold water when you have F-4F with 9J
If EJ can fire 7E-2DF (taking into consideration only technical capability), then they should get them
Test fit is fine enough for this game. We know it is capable of using it. But the newer models in service it doesn’t matter. Test fits prove they can be sold and exported for nations that will pay for the upgrade. But since it can be fitted, and it does work it should be in game for the F15C.
The proof is in the Yak 141 in game. Has missiles it wasn’t even test fitted for and an imaginary canon installed.
They proof of concepted and actually equipped them, so they should be in game.
I’d say that is fair, but it was only test fit on the F-15EX, so that’s probably the aircraft intended to use them as well. They are used in the loadout of 22 missiles that’s often mentioned for it.
The F4F can carry Aim-120s so any generation of Sparrows are possible. Here is an F4F firing an Aim-120
That’s not how that works mate. The F-4F ICE was specifically upgraded to be able to. Just because modernized variant of a plane carries a modern loadout, doesn’t mean older variants can carry similar weapons.
