Pythons are crazy missiles tho, much better than P-4s. But honestly I don’t think the HMS amounts for much especially because the radar is useless and the missiles can’t be launched at high off-boresight.
Could you explain this chart please? I always see those but I can’t tell what they mostly mean. Does that mean the MLD matches the F-5E while pulling less Gs at the same speed or what?

Eh, not really, depends on target.
For instance 9/10 of my 9J’s completely ignore mig25’s flares if its afterburning and spamming flares in long series. Takes them by surprise more often than not.
Because you know, however minor flare rejection there is, when targeting two burning suns it starts to kick in.

Yes but thrust is half the story, the other half is their weight; the F-5A tends to perform better in dogfights against me from what I’ve seen (particularly the NF-5A)
