Topic about Japan adds T-84 and VT-4

Hot take but: China shouldn’t get special treatment like how anyone else shouldn’t

Translate into english please, or I will remove the post. (Basically edit it into English)

Well, there’s that. But I would prefer if Thai sub tree can be appreciated and well-liked by all rather than being a point of discourses and stuff. After all, it’s a game, and the game should be for fun, not arguments.

Summary:

  • No VT-4 in Thai subtree this September
  • Thai VT-4 should be placed together where all other Thai-operated vehicles are
  • Deferring its addition is acceptable rather than outright dismissal (at least wait for the subtree system to be reworked)
  • Just personally, the flag on the Japan National Tree should be replaced with a Hinomaru on the international client

In fact,if it’s other time, most won’t argue for this.Bts this time around Sep 3rd,it is politically provocative.Even wt is just a game, but during its content, something must be considered, just like Nazi flag.

Add the nation and what they have, so players get to have fun with the equipment in a national line-up. I don’t think it’s particularily fun to get canceled out of something like that just because of you know. Or even worse splitting them like they’ve done for non sub-tree nations. Also these kind of threads have shown up before for other nations I’m pretty sure, but it never stopped them. Doubt it will here.

It’s weird that it’s not the Hinomaru already since the Rising Sun one was never their national flag.

Still waiting for Canadian Leopard A4M added to British or US, like those wish VT4 added into Japan

I agree

After all that discussion, here are just two key takeaways:

No Thai VT-4 will be released.

Even if a Thai VT-4 were to be added, it should belong to China, not Japan—just like how the Leopard 2PL and Leopard 2A4M are assigned to Germany as their country of origin.

The difference is that poland and canada are not subtrees and thailand is, a thai vt-4 would go with the thai line in japan. Which is why they should just not add it imo with how people are acting with just a rumor about it.

This insistence that the VT-4 should be taken away from the Thai subtree really irks me the wrong way. The compromise is already there - deferment until subtree rework and yet you unilaterally insist on these terms.

Forget it, Thailand is a Japanese sub tree. The VT-4 is bound for the tree.

I agree with your point, and I stand by my second argument mentioned earlier. Either they don’t release it as you suggested, or it should go to China instead of Japan.

There is quite frankly 0% chance of it coming to china.

I’ve made myself perfectly clear—this is the fundamental disagreement. Why are you still being so obstinate? There’s no such thing as “delaying its release.” The only options are either not adding it at all or giving it to China, not Japan. Can’t you understand what I’m saying?

Gaijin, I’ve recently seen a lot of ads for War Thunder on the Chinese video site Bilibili. We can see you’re paying attention to the Chinese market. But did you ever consider the reaction on Chinese forums, Tieba, and video sites if you gave the Thai VT-4 tank to Japan? Is this how you plan to destroy your investment? Honestly, if you do this, I even doubt whether streaming this game will be allowed in China anymore, or if content creators will be able to make videos about War Thunder. There are plenty of games out there; not having this one really wouldn’t make much difference. If you think it’s no big deal, then I guess that’s okay.

You have your opinion, I have mine. I am not being obstinate, this is a compromise. Please go check this really good suggestion if you are interested.

Dear Administrator,

In that case, we’ll proceed with the first option: not introducing this vehicle for the Thai Army—neither now nor in the future.
