Topic about Japan adds T-84 and VT-4

I’m not an administrator. Moderation doesn’t actually work for gaijin.

Me saying it has a 0% chance isn’t from any internal plans, it’s simply how it is, gaijin wouldn’t add a vehicle from one STT into another nation, especially when said other nation already has versions of the same vehicle.

Must be nice to just pick and choose huh

I could see them adding an otherwise identical but non Thai VT-4 to China

I understand your point, which is why I also suggested it’s best to halt development on this—to avoid unnecessary disputes.

Given gaijin’s development cycle of over a year, the VT-4 for thailand is more then likely already done, or if not nearly done. And it’s unlikely they’ll scrap something they already paid to develop.

But it is a Sovereign state wdym? The civil war started between both ROC and PROC.
Both are sovereign states.

What? You mean the ROC is a sovereign state? Go check how many sovereign nations currently maintain diplomatic relations with this so-called ‘country’? Do major powers like the U.S., Russia, or the EU recognize it now?

Please also refrain from discussing political content on this forum, as it has already crossed the line.

It’s just as sovereign as PROC, you won’t say USA and PROC doesn’t exists just because Bhutan doesn’t see it as an actual nation.

Alright

I know what you mean, I still think its just not the best thing to fight over. Much better things to fight over regarding this.

Also I really dont think Russian players would care about that.

Better example would include ukraine or poland

Alright enough politics, the other mods will be very displeased if they have to pay any more attention to this.

I think maybe this is why I compared the Thai VT-4 problem with the Indian Rafale problem earlier in this topic.
which could be seen as similar if we exclude every other damn political thing.

Or some Dutch/Hungarian Leopards.

For Leopard 2A4M or Leo2PL case,

  1. Germany exported some leopards to a nation which aren’t belong to others as a sub-tree.
  2. As long as Canada or Poland isn’t any nation’s sub-tree. Germany got their exported variant of Leopard.

But, in the Leopard 2A7HU case.

  1. Germany exported Leo2A7HU to Hungary, which is belongs to Italy as a sub tree.
  2. Since Hungary is being sub-tree of Italy, Italy got Leopard 2A7HU. not Germany.

So, in the Thai VT-4 case, things will be similar to the Leopard 2A7HU case.

  1. China exported VT-4 to Thailand, which belongs to Japan as a sub-tree.
  2. So Japan will get Thailand VT4 later.
  3. But not in this September.

What you can expect will be nothing but ‘delayed as much as you want’ as Indian Rafales are.

I understand why you dislike the addition itself. But I think you can’t change the tide.

Think about the exmaples like the large gap between releasing the French version of Mirage 2000-5F and the ROC version of 2000-5Ei.

Did you really just start an argument about Taiwan not being a nation and then telling others to refrain from political discussion

Please no VT4 to Japan

Yep that how sub trees work they are subordinates to the main hence why they can’t split up tech once announced, We have Russian stuff in Britain, We have German stuff in Sweden, We have French things in Germany, We have Russian stuff in China, So why can’t we have Chinese stuff in Japan?

Why does Japan need the VT4?

Because Thailand is a sub nation to Japan

That’s history WW2 history the VT-4 is a modern tank and is used by Thailand not Japan

1937 to 46 =/=2025

Well, I saw many SK players disliked largely about former suggestion to add SK to JPN directly as a sub-tree.
(That became one of the major reasons why Japan got Thailand instead of SK.)

Their reason were similar to yours, and it was valid. So Gaijin chose to select Thai instead.

So, Japan will never gonna get SK’s K1A1 or F-15K. just as same as ANY PRC version of a Chinese-built vehicle will not be added to them either.

But this(Thai VT4) problem looks similar, but differences also exist, and I explained with sub-trees.

I am trying my best to understand those complicated histories and hatred between those nations.

Yes. I understand your disagreement. you guys must’ve disliking the addition itself if it is going to happen.

But please also considers we don’t know nothing more than two points.

  1. Thailand ground forces will be sub-tree of japan in this september, just like what their air force did earlier.
  2. Gaijin officially announced ‘IT WILL NOT ADDED IN NEXT SEPTEMBER AS YOU ALL WORRIED’

every other things are in possiblity level.

Japan may have the right to have Thai VT4 after the next update, if we consider those other sub-trees.
But we don’t know when it will be.

Maybe this December, or next year, or 20 years later. We don’t know anything further about this case.
