Boy are Russian mains going to be disappointed with future added aircraft and the tec gap between American a Russian. If the more advanced r77 gets added, right along side it will be the C series of aim-120s and we will have this conversation again

You do realize that 8/10 nations have USA planes and AMRAAMS right? Both Japan and Israel gets F-15’s and Gripens, Harriers etc also use AMRAAMS. It’s not the USA being good, it’s Russia and China being weaker than other nations.

And yes, I understand that US jets will probably still be stronger, but like, Gaijin isn’t exactly helping by refusing to fix Russian flight models at top tier, or tweak the R-77 (some people say it has less drag irl)
I feel like the best thing they could do (which isn’t going to be the case) is not focus on modern things past what they have, and focus on features, and I know development of vehicles and features are different teams, but add things like subs, more modes, ECM, etc. Round out the areas that are currently facing the game. That doesn’t mean adding more modern vehicles to push the meta, but make the current build into a better rounded experience, I feel like we are pushing vehicles beyond the features that they have, and it’s lagging behind to counter and add full features to already implemented weaponry
They won’t ever slow down with adding stuff to top tier imo, they’ve got to keep riding the hype train.
Which is why Russian fighters need to be buffed, because past 12.7 they’re just plain bad, and this is only worsening with each top tier update. Fox 3’s were the biggest example of this. They’ll keep going more modern and we’ll still be left behind.
This is just wrong. The Su-27 is incredibly good at 13.0, in fact its the best 13.0 in the live server right now. The Su-27SM and MiG-29SMT are mid on the other hand, could use a buff but they’re not uncompetitive.

Yes. Firing missiles when youre already pretty much at the notch provides an advantage. It means you don’t have to turn a lot to fire your missiles and therefore get caught out of the notch. Also HOBS.
Also wdym by extra 5deg? Most western radars only have gimbal limits of 60deg.
I’m not saying Russian top tier isn’t bad, but OP’s points are clearly cherry picked. Its not an objective look at the aircraft, OP just chose all the bad points and I’ve already talked about what I find great about Russian planes.

I was referring to the the radar on the J-10, since that one has 90 degrees to the side.
That might be true in a downtier, but I haven’t gotten one since they lowered it to 13.0. In a uptier to 13.7 it’s just sad, but I guess that goes for all 13.0s.
I don’t see how this is cherry picking when they are bad at everything in expect that the SU-27s carry more missiles than the competition and get a situationally useful IRST.

J-10 has 85deg.
Su-27SM can carry 12 missiles, R-27ETs, one of the fastest on the deck, R-27ERs (though using them against AMRAAMs require a lot of understanding of missiles), R-73s that can sometimes equalize a fight. Also underrated thing about the Flankers is that they can carry a lot of fuel, 25mins is enough to last me an entire match if I climb but this is pretty minor.

All your examples afor pros about Russian jets are just non-points, a long range IR missile hardly matters when flares exist (and they also just get flared by accident a lot anyway). The R-27ER is outdated in top tier, and the fuel is literally achievable by any jet with external fuel tanks.
Also, dont get on my case about bringing up the same thing multiple times when thats your entire argument. Stop bringing it up again, and I wont reply to it again.
